Girls' Frontline easily has the funds to create an incredible anime due to being a gacha. I personally think they threw a bad budget at the anime and chose a weak animation studio on purpose, but when they're making stuff like this, it's clear where most of their budget is going lol.

Sheesh, as someone who's never played GFL but always loved people who made 3D animations of it, this was really amazing. It even gave me some nostalgic Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex vibes for some reason and the details are pretty freaking awesome! T-Dolls rule! Guns rule! Hell yeah!

Seeing heavy Ghost in the Shell vibes, not just from that UMP9 jump but the raid on Kalina's office reminds me of that one part in S.A.C. where the Umibozu Unit attacked Section 9. Loved the use of real tactics, stacking up, double tapping, very cool.

Probably FAR more dangerous than any of these androids and still breaks her own arms far too often.

Ok question, I didn't know it even had a story (never played) as I figured it was just a event/grind based gacha. There a story mode or manga somewhere? I'd certainly be interested in seeing the story. I don't have the patience for gacha elements much anymore, lol

@@ORLY911 There’s a manga series and the anime series that summarise the events, additionally, the game keeps the story stores to be rewatched I the first game so you have an understanding of the story and also here on. KZread people post the chronology of the story.

@@ORLY911 The manga so far is at the end of chapter 8 The anime ends at Ch 6 The game is 1 Main story event after Ch 13 As the other commenter said, on YT there are people who uploads the story chapters Though I have to admit, never watched them because its not the same playing through a hard mission and then getting rewarded with the story. But yes, the game is grindy af and not in a good way, imo, as for a mobile game. (Too time consuming for a gacha is what I mean)

@@ORLY911 the grind can be macro'ed on emulator, so it's not that painful (I did it on Nox), and some event stories can be played if you missed the actual event. There are people uploading their playthrough, but personally playing the game is more immersive.

@@Misakimori_NM I'm sure they're fine. 404 seems to be operating independently now. Maybe they disbanded. 9 ditched the scar and she's going by her original name now, and 45's got a new look. I have a feeling that 416 will probably turn up near the Commander, and she's probably still lugging G11 around.

I love the realistic tactics mixed in with over the top action.

This is one of those trailers that'll give me goosebumps even after rewatching it a few more times.

From what i heard this was actually Mocapped and directed by Yuzhong with the assistance of military domain experts, so now you know how they got the tactics correctly

Dude...they are android girls. They are akin to Terminator against normal human. The important bits are their doll bodies, not the clothes. The only reason they start to wear "tactical gears and armor" here is that they are exiles that lack the funding of G&K to constantly repair/replace high quality bodies that can take hits much better than the current ones. They are on a budget essentially. Or at least that is what I heard of how the creators justify the changes in looks.

@@kuronikou2586 ok *_SPOILER ALERT_* I'll try to make it short This takes part in "Dual Randomness". G&K is in the process of rebuilding. In this timeframe, both Kalina and the Commander have the option to leave G&K offered by Kryuger himself. The Commander decides to stay but through bad jokes, ends up hurting Kalina by telling her to go by herself after she declaring to have some sort of dependency of the Commander. Kalina gets her Jimmies rustled, and thinks that Commander is going to leave, leaving her in a state of grieve or sadness and unwilling to communicate with the Commander during the events and missions. In the end, a celebration is taking place, and Commander tries to approach Kalina for the 99nth time. She is still mad and sad, but the Commander finally takes the chance to clarify and apologize to Kalina. It ends up with laughs and smiles, a very heartwarming moment for me tbh. They are not a couple but dang man... THE FEELS! Commander promises Kalina not that he will not lie to her. All good a gucci, right? *_PSYCHE_* The cutscene is cut by a another one of Commander 10 years after those events, reminiscing about the promise he broke, and how he left Kalina, leading her to a great change of her personality, foreshadowing the events of GFL 2. And then I cried and my depression, which I was cured from for about 10 seconds, came back into me as I took a long deep breath.

Kinda surprised by the appearance of Bradley Fighting Vehicle in this trailer, assuming from the words placed on the vest of the "SWAT" team breaching into the room being in russian, it is fair to assume that this in someplace in within the Russian territory, which makes it even more surprising that the Bradley would be in here too and since this game takes place in 2074 and the Bradley entered service in 1981, it means that the Bradley Fighting Vehicle is nearly 90 years old at this point. let me remind you all we have tanks that literally have electromagnetic beam cannons this IFV is just target practice by this time and age.

Reminder that Paradeus Ulhan seems to be just some SLEP program IFV of a 2010+ NATO IFV, Russian Forces seem to use AN94s as their main rifle and for some reason Tu-95 Heavy Bombers ARE ALSO still in use by Military employed PMCs, note also that some tank wrecks in SF areas seem to be T72-90 type MBTs meaning AFVs in general haven't been updated aside Unmaned versions or AI controled models armed with Railguns, Artillery Mortars and more

This trailer succeeded in showing why humans just can't compete against T-dolls in a gunfight (sometimes even in melee), which is what we're told at every oportunity in the game (even during PL when they got their robotic asses handed)

To me, 1:56 is the most bs scene out of all, like there is no fking way tmp would be able to pull off something like that. It is obvious that she didn’t see the nade being thrown, so how did she know it’s path or even the fact that it’s thrown in the first place? Besides, saying she knew because of the sound of pulling the pin is also bs, the dude’s teammates were covering him and the sounds of gunfire is extremely loud so there is no way she could here that. The entire “shooting a nade while it’s in the air” is absolutely impractical even for a doll, at least in this case, and was probably added solely to flex there animation quality.

Well the game feels like you're watching a chess game with guns in it, more or less this is badass

Notice how they never break rear security in a stack even when they're in a gun fight? That takes a serious amount of trust, training and coordination from your teammates

Now that makes a lot of questions when did they make a conflict with russian police. On 0:32 on chestplate the are sign "POLICE" written on russian and mirrored. After that, сonflict with PMC/special force squad armed according to the American standard is not something unusual.
