That was so easy for Hodgkinson - She was the youngest in the race I believe - Only 16. Splits suggest she can go a fair bit faster too.

Within just a few years she had broken Kely Holmes' national record, won an Olympic medal and become European Champion. Now she holds a world best (600m) mark too. Her talent eas clear for all to see, but how wonderful to know what a superstar Keely became after this performance.

And three years later she won silver in Tokyo!

She already knew she was going places. My fav athlete.

Wonder what happened to O'Sullivan since then? It was a great race from Keeley and it would be fantastic if she could win the gold medal in Paris, even though she will have some fierce competition, once again...

Yes 1.57.86 some 7 seconds faster. Maybe Phoebe has just developed earlier as has been running for many years? However see how they all run in the Olympics?

O'Sullivan very gritty...but work on shoulders n arms...relax w easy cadence til you turn on after burners.....run w Craic til you make them Crack

Interesting gait there on young O’Sullivan - what do I know (nothing) but interested to hear from anyone knowledgeable on the biomechanics. Is it the young bones growing faster than the muscle & sinews? Seems to my uneducated eyes that her levers/height are making up for limited hip extension - given her maturation expect some more gears in there. Competition beware!
