they debuted in 2007 the oldest is 33 and the youngest is 31 and they do indeed look to be in their 20's there is indeed a full album with this song

Just to clarify, no hate. They’re not the og Nation’s GG, they’re the only one. This title was given by the blue house, so fans have no say in this. It’s a little frustrating when kpop fans give this title to their fav group just because it has views or sales, since it’s actually a important title

This is a full fledge comeback! This comes with their 7th full album and they will be promoting in Music Shows this upcoming week. They have a bunch of variety show lined up this month! I’ve been a SONE for 15 years since they debuted in 2007, so I am one of those full of emotions, still feels like a fever dream. Hope you dive deeper into them, because they shaped the Kpop industry.

As a SONE noona and 2nd Gen fan since 2009, Girls’ Generation is the reason why I got into K-pop. So glad they’re back for their 15th anniversary 💗💗💗💗💗

2nd Gen was AMAZING in the mid-2010’s. The videos, the songs, the music shows, the groups themselves. Everyone knows who Taeyeon, Hyolyn and CL are, but them with their groups? Pure magic.

They’re the greatest girl group, the most awarded too in Korea!! GG is everything

SNSD's ages range from 31 to 33 and yes there's a whole amazing album you might want to listen to. They're all active not as idols but as actresses (the 4 youngest ones), variety entertainers or solo artists - the individual shots in the MV show these solo activities - and they made space on their schedules to make this album for their 15th anniversary. ps: Since you're getting into DreamCatcher, Dami is a huge Sone. there is an InsomnicSY video called Successful Sone Dami which is cute af

Not sure if you were planning to record more snsd mv reactions but it'd also be cool to see you watch their offstage stuff like variety show appearances. Snsd are such variety queens & they're also doing some variety show promotions for this comeback like knowing bros, amazing Saturday, game caterers etc

Been a SONE since 2009 n they’re the reason I got into kpop the 1st place. Still a one the most impactful group ever for Kpop that inspires other GG idols that are established till now

My favorite group in the history of music. Visuals, Vocals, Choreo, Stage Presence, Acting, Chemistry, Modeling, Variety, Solos, Sub-units. They KILLED EVERYTHING!

This MV made me so emotional..15 years..they drew me in to Kpop because of the song Gee and damn..they still look incredible and sounds amazing ..its a crime! I feel this MV is like two era fused in to one, red carpet successful women on one shot while dancing in sailor inspired outfits and colorful at the same time. The red carpet part..I looooove the piano bits..their debut song Into The New World in some way is used in there btw.

Talking about ageism in K-pop, you gotta check out BoA!!! She debuted in 1st gen at 13 and is still going strong after 22 years in this fucked industry and people dare call her old when she’s literally only 35🤡 with age comes more experience and new opportunities and we should all appreciate that. truly the queen of K-pop y’all don’t understand how revolutionary her career is… I recommend “better” she is so🥵🥵 (she’s also having a Korean comeback at the end of the year)

LMAO! I know you were not about to call yourself "middle-aged".

Soshi really have THAT star power, not only stage singing and dancing, but also just doing nothing. Many fellow younger idols (and other celebs) even are in awe if they meet them or are in a close proximity. Their personalities also really oozes star power when they are on variety shows, acting or whatever. Some people don't really stan Snsd or listen to their music but still watches their variety show apperances and reality shows just bcs they are so funny and entertaining.

I first discovered K-Pop back in 2010-2011 through SNSD's Gee MV which was randomly linked to me by someone in an anime chat room. I thought it was J-Pop at first given the subject of the chat, and as I watched more and more videos from SNSD I eventually branched off into K-Pop and have been a fan of both SNSD and K-Pop ever since. With all that since, no other group has ever replicated that same feeling for me as SNSD has so they've been my ult group even to this day. It's unexplainable but they just hit different. They were there with me through the end of middle school, all through high school and college, and even now that I'm an adult working a desk job and paying bills; always there to help me through tough times and entertain me through the good times too. Part of me kind off just accepted that the 10th Anniversary comeback was gonna be the last and that we'd just enjoy each of the members doing their own thing, which I happily did for 5 years but still deep down hoping for a comeback eventually, since they did leave the door open for it when Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung left SM. So with all that history on release night I stayed up all night until 4am for this MV and album and everything was just perfect. All the emotions and sentimentality built up over the years brought this now grown man in his 20s to tears because I was just so happy to see SNSD together again, especially since I almost thought we never would. Happy 15th Anniversary everyone, and I hope new fans come to appreciate SNSD as well and realize why they're the idols of their idols :) Also I can't agree more with how so fucking nostalgic it is seeing all these 2nd gen groups we basically grew up with coming back!!

Their company is only one I know who has groups and soloist who are great singing in harmony for their chorus

You've clearly never heard RBW's Mamamoo. Or are intentionally ignoring them. But yes, SM groups are typically very good with harmonizing.

I knew them when I was 9-10 years old, and now I'm 21. They are legends..

So many of us never thought will be watching a GG comeback , I would really love to have the chance to see a SNSD Pink Ocean.

SNSD is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. Some of them know eachother since 2000. It's so crazy that they last this long and still making music together. Just how many groups can you name this successful both individually and as a group? 2nd Gen! SNSD was the first group I stanned when I first got into Kpop so seeing this comeback brought all the feels. Agreed that this MV gives 2nd Gen vibes, too. All the different sets for each member. It's all great! Loving all the comebacks this year. 2NE1, SISTAR reunion, and Sunye (from Wonder Girls), and Nicole (from KARA). 5:05 Taeyeon is the one in middle. She is probably the 2nd most "popular" female solo singer in korea, only behind IU. She debuted in 2015 as a solo singer with "I". But her recent "INVU" is a must listen.

I love that there’s lots of other SONE that have been fans since 2009. It really was a golden era for k-pop :’) honestly, it was hard waiting so long for their comeback, but when this mv finally came out, I thought that the wait was worth it. I was one of the many people that got into kpop all because of Psy from there i wanted more of kpop,, My first girl groups that I started with were girls generation ,2ne1 , BigBang , and SHINee from there i kinda took a break and 1 or 2 years pass and k/da got me back into kpop again from there i gave a lot of groups a chance, and from there i discover everglow, dreamcatcher , twice, stray kids, BTS, red velvet , AOA, GFriend, (g) idle, blackpink and many more,,,, I might not be a long to time fan of kpop but i love the music, communities, fandoms in many words kpop have had saved my life, it makes me feel happy, better, and gives me energy, i don't care about anyone thinks about kpop, music is music , i love seen you girls discovering new groups and having a fun time ❤️

They are not that Old. Irene from Red Velvet is older than Sohyun (the maknae on Girls Generation) But they debuted back in 2007. All of them have sucessfull solo carrers in different fields, some are great solo singers, some are great models, some are great actress, so yeah.

Same with me.. been following them since highschool. This definitely feels nostalgic.

That change when SNSD, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, and many other girl group came along! They have so many successes and they are name NATION'S GIRL GROUP!

This cb made me emotional. I’m so happy they finally came back and even without Jessica. After all that happened they still managed to take time to make a cb for the fans and themselves. SNSD Once again it shows that the footprint of your group can be maintained, this group will always be powerful, feminine, cute, regardless of their age.
