Wow! You must really love your girlfriend to leave her in charge of your loco 🤣 I'm so jealous of you and your real steam locos (you've got 2 right?) At least there's a multi-gauge rail club not too far from me that has occasional open days. Otherwise I'm stuck with my OO layout. All the best over the holidays.

Ha she was a great sport! Yes a 94xx pannier tank and B1 mayflower. I also have 3x diesels at the mo. Oh great! Why not go and check them out? Its a great hobby! You too, enjoy!

Heya Eric, Just wanted to say thanks for your vids! ive been looking at moving hobbies for some time, ( classic cars ) which take up oodles of space, but found your channel started researching and heading down to my local club in Ruddington next weekend to see what its about :) Really like the look of your loco, and personally i love the little Simplex tank engines. Eitherway a question if thats ok, when it comes to your pannier what sort weight are we talking. lets say compared to your Mayflower? im 30 and in reasonably fine fettle but getting an idea in advance would be wonderful. all the best!

Hi mate, yeah i understand with cars! I have a couple old cars myself! The pannier i can just about carry around myself if the tanks are empty, its fairly heavy though! They are the sort of thing where a trolley is super handy, otherwise you risk hurting yourself or damaging the loco

How do get your mrs to like this stuff, still working on getting my wife into it 😀
