I would never send my parents to an old age home. They brought me up to where I am now

See the reality is that children mostly all may try to care for their parents and only a few will do it diligently. Most will be on their phone,going out etc.... So for elders is it not a good place to be with people their own age, communication is better and opposed to siting in your room or elsewhere and wait for them to actively engage with you. Or live independently
