So, this time sadistic and cruel ML doesnt get a happy ending? And the FL eventually comes to a point when she leaves him for good, so that she can live a good life? Thats refreshing.

Great performance by the actors. The story was very twisted and the ending was amazing. The male lead was all alone, the female lead went away with her sister. Female lead went through so much at the hands of the male lead. Glad he was alone but wish we saw him suffering more 😂

I know the plot is convoluted and I know the ML character is one of the more sadistic and downright hateable that we see, but to me this drama is a prime example of what happens when a very well written script (english subs not withstanding, they always lose the real meaning) is placed into the hands of highly skilled actors such as our two leads. Intense, riveting and a satisfying end. Engaged my interest and emotions (positively and negatively) throughout. A cut above a lot of these web dramas floating around. One final thought....he could not possibly have loved her and inflicted such hurt on her. Love & possessiveness are often confused. Suffer dude. You deserve it. Kudos to the wonderful lead actor. Always delivers a stellar performance.

I agree with your comments. This drama does depicts some real life scenarios which remain hidden from public eyes. There are many poor female souls out there who sell their bodies to pay hefty medical bills and loans. There are also many sadistic men out there who prey on them.Such dramas are unpleasant for viewing, but I can say the leads in this drama put up good acting skills.

Like father like son. FL mother didn't do anything. ML's father had kidnapped her and had her locked in for three months and made her life hell. That's not love. That's just rape. She was able to escape when one day the kid ML accidentally opened the basement door. His mother doesn't help the woman escape, refuse to divorce his father but killed herself. ML/son blames his parents fault on the poor woman and his daughter. So he trapped daughter of that woman and torturing her. FL needed to run away like day before yesterday since the beginning. Her sister is dumb and disgusting. But so are men in her life. The nice brother trying to rape too? Argh.

This was twisted and I'm not sure I even understand the big reveal at the end. SPOILERS. I think the subs are messed up and some of the pronouns are wrong. When the FL read her mom's diary she wrote about being kidnapped by the ML's father because he wouldn't let her go and the ML let her escape (as a child). She also hoped that he and his mom could be happy and not encounter the same abuse she went through from his father. The reveal though said his mom kidnapped her. I think the subs were off in that scene. The ML apparently thought his dad was some innocent man that got seduced by an evil woman. When he realized that his father was the evil one that caused everyone all the pain and FL knew and didn't tell him because she loved him so much she didn't want to hurt him, that seems to be when he regrets it. I am confused why the FL accepted his proposal. It didn't seem like they cleared the misunderstandings between them, like the ML making the FL think he turned her younger sister into his mistress, got her pregnant which led to her hemorrhaging and going into a coma. Unless I missed the part where he admitted that he never touched her sister, I can't understand how the FL could forgive and reconcile with the ML after that. The good thing is the ML ends up alone. The FL leaves town with her sister and writes a letter to the ML telling him he will never see her again. That was a fitting end. The FL shouldn't have ended up with any of the guys in this. They're all trash in their own way. Even the one that ultimately helped her in the end allowed the ML to torment her knowing the truth about his dad the entire time. It seems he wanted to hurt the ML by allowing the ML to destroy his own love then drop the truth on him. The FL was also so pitiful throughout that it became hard to sympathize with her. I'm also confused about what was real and what was staged to make the FL suffer. I figured the suicide of the vixen was staged, but that wasn't addressed. I knew she would still be alive, but it would've been nice to clue the viewers in on what was real and what wasn't. There was a point when I thought her sis was going along with the ML as part of his plan too but since she was still in a coma I think she was just an unwitting pawn.

😮It was the MLs father’s fault for chasing the FLs mother. His mother imprisoned her mother but she finally escaped. By that time,the MLs mother had gone completely crazy through jealousy and threw herself of of the building. The male lead always thought that it was her mother who caused his mother’s death but it was actually his father’s infatuation with the female lead’s mother who made all of the misery that befell everyone. The ML made everything 100 times worse by acting like his mother and drawing the girl into this twisted revenge plot.

Thanks. I was confused because when the FL read the diary it talked about the father being a monster so I assumed he was the one that imprisoned her. Either way, the ML was just like his parents. He didn't love the FL. He was obsessed with her. I'm glad that his revenge fell apart, and she wasn't embarrassed like he planned and even happier that she left him, but this one was too long and twisted to get to that ending and be worth it for me.@@Vovo-zx4ql

This was defiantly a different drama than what is floating around. The ML is rather sadistic and manipulative to the point where the FL has a couple of breakdowns which he enjoys. I will say the overall plot was rather confusing and kind of felt like they were trying to do too much while not explaining things well. I felt bad for the FL but honestly she should have bailed a long time ago!

FL is suffered alot. It's good to live alone and loving for own self. From the beginning, she did everything for her love ones but, what did she get, only humility and blame. Her sister, her bf and her love, everyone hurts her to no end. Just make her psycho 😢.she blame herself as a murderer of two person, then, they suddenly appeared. Her sister also didn't understand her. Apart from that, She lost her child too. I just satisfied to see the ml alone and miserable, because, he deserves it. When, he proposed her, I thought its alright to give him a chance, but, he again shows his true colour. From my side, he is mentally poor and fool person in this drama who is going to take revenge to not knowing the truth. But, the actors are great ❤.

Like your thoughts! I honestly am not sure the male lead is even capable of love (or guilt). He comes across as a sadistic psychopath. I was so proud of the female lead for leaving his pathetic ass and not looking back and I DO hope that the she eventually heals her heart and opens herself to actual love in the future (in her own terms only). She needed to get far away from the morally bankrupt people who surrounded her in this drama. I hope she heals and does not spend another minute thinking about him ever again. If he is capable of human emotions, I hope he wallows in regret and shame and sadness and suffers for everything he INTENTIONALLY did to two women who were children at the time and had zero culpability if the mother HAD done anything wrong.

I got the feeling that the ending is not actually the real ending, because most of this cdrama about abusive relationship FL always end up with ML,good editing though by the channel owner.I read in psychology paper that this kind of abusive relationship the classic ups and down that is why the abused is having a hard time escaping from abused relationship unless they are almost battered to death or authorities has to step in.Culturally women were brain washed to accept this kind of suffering though that is why were seeing this kind of script.

One thing that ruins these dramas for me is when misunderstandings about cheating or other things are not clarified between the leads and the heroine still takes him back. Us viewers, we might know what's up, but if the characters don't, and still get back together, then these characters become less likeable.

spoiler alert: *_ok! a lot of people asking what happens in the end coz the subs suck and everyone has doubts..so here goes.. the bodyguard who marries the fL, is the step-brother of the ML. he is a good character but doesn't interfere in the FL's lives till the end..The ML's Revenge arc starts that day on the bridge, when his mother half crazy, asks a lil girl, if she thinks her own mom is handsome/beautiful, or if she[the ML's mom] is beautiful..of course, as expected from a 6 year old, the kid would answer her own mom was beautiful and that unexpectedly leads to that lady falling off from the bridge killing herself, and the son ,who ran after her witnessed this..that boy thinks it is our heroine, who could have simply lied and saved his mother from killing herself and hence he chooses our heroine for revenge...but of course, how would any child know this and how does one even after becoming an adult, target a child? hence the male is a psycho ,obsessed with destroying her life[separating her from her lover and sister and from anyone who could take her and give her a better life..this includes the bodyguard, her ex-boyfriend, who forces her to marry etc..he successfully , tells her he loves her, even when the ex-boyfriend was willing to marry her, although he still has anger issues with her.. but it could have been solved, had they spoken, to each other and resolved._* *_now the question to what happened to their mothers: the story is the FL's father kidnapped the heroine's mother ,keeping her a prisoner in his basement, when the woman was already pregnant with the heroine's sister and our hero, as a small boy let's this woman out to escape..the ML's father was another psycho who wanted to marry FL's mother, forced her imprisoned her until she escapes..this is written in the diary, which the fL finds out, [when she was told by her mother to nOT OPEN it] and the body guard asks her to "go back" to the past, to figure out why the ML keeps abusing her.. Due to this escape, the father goes crazy and unhinged and as a result the ML's mom who was already in depression and feeling unloved, goes to the bridge on that fateful day, asks the child that question"who is more beautiful" and then jumps off.. here the ML assumes it is the FL's mom, who seduced his father, hence their marriage broke and his father went crazy and his mom killed herself..so this is the burden he carries throughout, till the end , when he finally deceives the FL into thinking ,he will marry her but marries another. he wants her to experience the PAIN and LONELINESS that his mother experienced throughout her life._* *_The female lead, whose mind boggling STUPIDITY and in-decisiveness cost not only her own life but that of her sister, her ex-BF and even to an extent the ML's life, had she simply opened her mouth to speak the truth..the irony being'she didn't wasnt to hurt the ML's feelings" even if it destroyed her sister, who was had psychological problems accepting her sister's profession, was bullied in her school on, where the fees came from and the relationship that the fL had with her ex-BF, which the sister felt was destroyed by her older sister, which lead to his death.. of course the ML manipulated facts and events and when he had no other reason to control the fL, he used her own younger sis ,as a shield and then attacked the FL. the younger sis asking the FL,"if you can choose to be a mistress, why can't I" says it all..had the FL showed her the diary. did some counselling and sent her away to study, the sister, wouldn't become pregnant, chose to abort, in a small clinic and then go into a coma due to excessive bleeding..The ML, it seems did NOT use a contraceptive that he insisted the fL use.. so he wanted it that way, so that would be another tool for him to control the FL.. likewise why did the FL not contact any of the relatives of her ex-BF..where they all dead or not reachable.. they did have a strong relationship, as the younger sister, seemed to admire their relationship and her sister's ex-BF, who was like a brother to her.. they were both played by the ML.. neither does our heroine use her brain nor does she even apply to do any other job, even though she meets the ML,only once a month..so what does she do the rest of the month??the FL alone is responsible ,for herself and her younger sister's lives and the question on why she didn't speak the truth to the ML, even after the wedding ,inside the room, saying his father was the demon that spoilt all their lives will haunt her forever_* sorry, it's a big para..

i really hope that the women mindset in the movie does not represent the reallity....women cant be that stupid to keep falling for the same sadistic person, or think that theyll change . once a dog always a dog!

The drama was interested but heart broken too😢

nice drama....time for ML to pay the price, for being cruel to FL...
