for all those people who have a beyond friendly cat living near or at their house, bring it in before it's too late. You will rarely regret it, and more times than not they will change your life for the better.

It means you have been chosen.

When you rescue a stray, you'll forever be rewarded with kisses and cuddles. You won't have any regrets. Their lives with food, shelter, warmth and company will be far better than any street life. Those baba kittens will always show love and appreciation for your decisions. Acting early by using your instincts will save their lives. 💖

Two lucky cats

All of my cats were born outside. I recently took in a very demanding stray who insisted on being adopted. When he went to the vet, I was asked if I wanted him tested for FIV and I said yes. I needed to know because I wanted to make sure that he would be safe around my other cat, and vice versa. He was negative, but I knew that if he did have FIV that he could live a normal life indoors. So happy that Peach and Pumpkin have a wonderful new home together.

I like how Madeline referred to Peach's soft meows to be screaming & yelling at her.🤣😂 I think a person should consider themselves very lucky whenever an animal, esp a cat, chooses them to be their family member, esp when that animal decides to permanently stay with them forever.❤❤❤

Ginger cats are clingy and require lots of special attention. Mine sleeps right by me (my head, on my arm, on my neck when it hurts and I ask her) and purrs. She will sleep on my bed when I'm not in it.

You've got to love a moggy , that's a survivor .

When I first got mine cat her name was pictures and she is a tabby but I change her name to pumpkin I got her as a Christmas gift of the year 2021 and also she is one years old

You have a loving heart...but be intelligent, stray cats have many wrongs...sort them out before bringing them into your home, castration is the first, along with worming, fleas, etc...but IF YOUR BOY HAS FHV...it's cruel to have him live, as pain aches and all other ALIMENTS are coming,. BE LOVING, 'CRUEL TO BE KIND', and give him heavenly sleep. BEEN THERE AND SADLY DONE THIS EXACT THING!!!

You are precisely what is wrong with the world. FIV is a retrovirus found in cats. Most cats actually can have the same lifespan as those without or even longer. Nothing is guaranteed in this world and because there immune system is slightly depressed precautions should be taken, the owner should be vigilant and react to symptoms early. As my vet said at the time there is NO NEED to euthanize a cat simply because they have a positive diagnosis for FIV. People should also be aware that there is a high false positive rate for FIV with the snap test, so using your theory may have their cat euthanized when they do not actually have the condition anyway. I have 2 cats with FIV.
