Who else feels like the laziest person in the world now? Edit: 23K likes later - I’m so happy to see I’m in good company! Also, I’d like to add for those who commented about how these videos are made...I am well aware of the magic of editing, that this girl probably had some help, and this didn’t happen in a day. But it’s no less inspirational! Nor does that fact negate my feelings that I could do more on any given day. :) Carpe Diem, KZread friends!

Yes. Nature is a great tool. It provides so much for us. Everything she cuts she uses. It’s the taking without using that destroys the planet. If everyone only took only what they needed and respected the land, the world would be very different. It’s the same thing for hunting. If you kill an animal, eat or use every part of it. Show the animal your thanks by not wasting it. That’s how animals do it

@@bodybalancer The way that sap was dripping from the branch, she would've had to to stand there for days, making sure the cut didn't dry out in order to get an amount of paint enough to cover even one square on that floor. I'm pretty sure they faked some of this although it's technically possible. I mean, do you believe that this video was captured naturally in 1080p by the forest? I was born in the Philippines. I don't remember ever having made paint from green leaves and rubber tree sap. Normally you'd have to boil that sap down in order for it to be of any use as latex paint. Not to mention the fact that rubber latex isn't generally water soluble. Notice also that they didn't show her doing the roof all by herself. It's a nice thought but this video is totally contrived. I mean, doing this is possible but there are a lot of things that weren't accounted for. Where did she get the concrete mix? Did she burn up 500 kilios of shells for the lime? Did she really spend 9 hours straight carrying water from the river to the little pool to fill it up with that little earthenware jug?

Unless u live in the jungle where bamboo will keep u warm and no one owns that land and ur a legend like this lady it’s never gona be as organic as this. Regardless of modern 1st world requirements it still is in my opinion worth it completely!

Be Mindful that these are very skilled people that do this for a living they help each other and are taught from a young child, how to survive in their jungle lands, no different than the people in the Amazon jungle they all live off the land, they're the best survivors, African's are the same way they have no electricity unlike Us, living off the grid you have no bills to pay but enjoy nature and protect themselves .. she is Amazing . they all use the same kind of tools for that clay sand ., Vines , Bamboo , Clay Sand , with cement to harden it .

Um... she's not doing this by herself. There's a crew that helps her build everything and the little snippets they show are part of the editing. If you want to watch someone do it for real, go watch Primitive Technology with the Australian bloke. He's what started this "primitive" craze and everyone's copied his style. The major difference is that everyone else uses crews and machinery off-camera. Primitive Technology shows every step of the process (building an axe, making the molds for bricks, making bricks out of clay, building a kiln...) and explains everything in captions. All of those steps are the real knowledge that videos like this masquerade as.
