The word primitive just seems to belittle her skills. She doesn’t have a leveler to keep things from falling over. She did all of this with barely a modern tool at her disposal. However, her designs were modern and I can guarantee the best architectural graduate from MIT couldn’t do what she does. Naw, this woman is a genius.

I couldn't agree more - but as an aside: The word "Primitive" is an homage to the channel Primitive Technology, who started the whole movement from Australia. That being said, this girl is a much better builder. I'm looking forward to binge-watching her videos.

I think it’s primitive in the sense that she’s not really using anything that she can’t find out and about. Other than the copper pot and her spade/axe tool thing, everything she uses is stuff she finds walking around in the forest. It’s not deriding her skill. They built pyramids with relatively “primitive” tools, particularly by today’s standard. It’s actually really incredible what she’s capable of using just her bare hands and stuff she found lying around. She is using the most primitive tools we have - her own mind and hands. Yet she can create something so beautiful. That’s really cool. Primitive people were (and are) the most skilled and inventive at using their environment to their advantage. Primitive is invocation of the identity of the channel - about living simply and as one with nature. There’s nothing diminutive about that. If I could do what she does using primitive means I would think I was the coolest, most skilled person in existence.
