One of the main differences I have noticed in their techniques is that Nanno often willingly becomes the "victim" in her plans while Yuri obviously just wants to be the winner if that makes sense.

I think it's fine that we have yuri because it makes the story exciting. Nanno in this season shows a lot of emotion in her face especially when it deals with mother and child relationship. But their dance it clearly shows that Nanno is above of yuri. Nanno's dance is so smooth and shows that she mastered it while yuri is just following her and trying to catch up to the beat.

I love this scene. The jarring sound that plays at the start. The way they carefully consider each other while standing far apart as if they're on a battlefield, like "what are you going to do hm?". And then the way Yuri copies Nanno's moves to show that (at least for now) she intends to work with Nanno, not against her.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t just like Yuri as an addition, I like her as a character- other than her killing the dog, I absolutely loved her whenever she was on screen. I found myself fanboying hoping it was her whenever someone walked up to Nanno

Why do I feel like Nanno has planned all of this. In episode 4 it was quite obvious that she’s interested in Yuri. Yuri is just greedyfor power and revenge and she might be just another Nanno’s victim, who is tested by Nanno but it’s just different from other episodes. Also, there was a scene when someone was eating ice cream and he accidentally ate Nanno’s blood and nothing happened. So it’s probably not because of blood??? Idk just guessing.

In my opinion and my theory is that Nanno is karma and Yuri is revenge. I feel like Nanno only give Yuri the blood because of her curiosity of an actual human holding her power. However Yuri kept disrespecting Nanno and being all ego, I think that Nanno is annoyed by it but of course Nanno is patient and wait for the right time to get rid of Yuri. I don’t think that Nanno is dead I think it’s just her clone that got killed and pretend to be mortal to play along with Yuri plan. Nanno is Satan’s daughter herself while Yuri is a just a human that got a bit of Nanno’s power. I think the rule of the underworld is karma and not brutally murder like Yuri did. I think it what Yuri did is against the rule and due to her being impatient is what is gonna end her and Nanno will get rid of her. I mean if the underworld really is about brutally murder then how is Nanno not do what her father tell her to do and how is she able to do what she been doing. I think SS3 might be Yuri doing all the stuff then Nanno will pop up and get rid of Yuri.

I like Yuri's character. Her introduction adds more lore to what Nanno's existence really is and also we have another girl in the end. Nanno and Yuri, both ideals and perspectives contradict each other. One is Karma the other is Revenge, they have different methods on how they will judge the humans. I always feel like S2 lacks something and I think I rival is what it needs. Can't wait for S3 I wonder how things would play out now there are 3 of them. I think in S3 we will see different methods of judgement

Seriously though, this might be one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. It’s just so pretty and it’s them acknowledging the challenge the pose to each other and where they are and it’s just so good.

I think this is all apart of Nanno's plan, making Yuri and Junko somewhat like her because if it wasn't apart of her plan you all know she's very capable of killing them easily but instead she was just sitting in the terrace watching them.

The interesting thing is the director portrayed the demonic side of both Yuri and Nanno, by performing a demonic ritual in a another dimension. I felt the director’s brilliance in depicting Nanno and Yuri performing the ritual when they first meet.

Two immortal reality warpers having a dance off in an alternate dimension while simultaneously taking part in a school hazing.

While Nanno is slow, she actually makes the wrong doers repent(In ep 3 and 5, she made both the rich girl and senior guy suffer for their wrong doings, but she doesn't want them to die) But Yuri interferes and has revenge with her, so she straight kills them(Yuri threw the bitch girl on the terrace and made the classmates of the senior guy kill him same as how he killed Nanno, being smashed by a blunt object).

@@twitzmixx8374 yuri *was* karma-sided then she slowly started to be revenge-biased, like the dora kid, she helped her even if she was a wrong-doer all because she thought of it as a "revenge". notice how nanno never killed anyone, because shes karma, karma is natural. she plays with them but they interact on their own and learn their lesson on their own, or get into problems on their own. because thats karma. thats why its slow. but in yuri, its not karma, its revenge. its not natural like karma. she does it for revenge, punishes/manipulates/kills wrong-doers to avenge somepeople or herself, that's why it's quick.

I hope Nanno returns in season 3 so she can put Yuri and Junko on theeir place .

This was such an interesting show. In the first season i couldn't tell if Nanno was trying uproot the wrongdoings of people at all other than the first episode. Season two solidified that for me better but then Yuri came along and her character helped clarify what Nanno was about. Nanno came about these situations by uprooting the issue as a whole while Yuri was just revenge. The ending was interesting as it left room for possibility for a season three but having it end as it is also makes sense in the way this show is written as it stays true to Nanno's character and her morals.

Remember, yuri and junko is not only the one who drink nanno's blood. There's a boy who is eating ice cream that lick and drink nanno's blood. Wish that scene is a clue for fight back against yuri in season 3.

Not only that, remember in ep 1 nanai and nanno had a baby.. so basically that baby had nanno's blood there are 2 ways this will go 1. The baby will get inhuman powers like nanno and probably appear in s3 2. Nanno will be rebirthed as the baby because the intro of the show where a droplet of blood from a hand became another hand was the symbolism of "rebirth"

This is perhaps my favorite scene in the whole s eries. The lighting, the high pitched sound and their stares as they meet again, it sure made us think ooh boy we're in for some stuff between these two.

Imagine Nanno saying "surprise" in S3 to Yuri. Remember when Nanno warns Yuri to stay out of her way in the Liberation ep but Yuri still didn't. I think Nanno intentionally made herself look weak in the last eps to put Yuri's guard down. Can't wait for Nanno to destroy Yuri and Junko in S3.

I don't think I could ever hate Yuri. I think to have someone like Yuri continue on the show will be exciting. I honestly don't think Yuri is a bad guy, but she is someone that is a branch or a kin of Yuri. Metaphorically a daughter.

На самом деле я уже много дней после просмотра обоих сезонов нахожусь под впечатлением от сериала... Однозначно один из лучших сериалов которые я видел. Хочу третий сезон "Девушки из неоткуда" больше чем когда то хотел восьмой сезон ИП(лучше бы он и не выходил)

I think its mudras! Nanno shows the shuni mudra which is for patience and discipline which reflects how she punishes people. Know im not sure what mudra Yuri is doing, could be the earth mudra symbolising her mortal upbringing or the fire mudra about her whole idea of revenge. I also saw that Nannos could also be a space Mudra which may hint to her powers of bending reality or "space".

Loved this show so much!! And no spoilers but I was more of a Nanno fan than a Yuri fan- Yuri had no subtlety or patience, Nanno had style, she was really good at mindfucking...and she had a creepier hysterical laugh lol

That dance scene is epic and the background music makes it better.

I feel like yur handles her "powers" very immaturely she would be that person who accidentally tells the whole world that she's has powers. While on the other hand nanno is very discrete about it and no one will truly know unless she shows them. I hope nanno fixes everything

I cant get this scene out of my head, i dont know why they were dancing but its the coolest thing ive seen

I think the only unfair ep for me was ep 7. All Jane wanted is to escape from her family and finally be free but yuri tried to drive her into killing nanno

Yuri represents vengeance, something that lasts long until the damage is done and boom... Gone. While Nanno represent Karma whether it's good or bad it's still there lurking around.

I don't know why i feel pity for nanno's victims (only in s2), they deserve their karma but why do i pity them anyways yeah the JennyX was sad but she shouldn't have said those horrible things and now she regrets everything
