Actually Abel is the love interest of our MC Mia, they confess their love to each other in volume 12 of the light novel. Later on Abel and Mia get married.

They always think Mia is wise even though she gets confused about what she did differently than the others expected from her.

That's the kind if storyI love. I find it so amusing. The MC clowning around and everybody interprets it as genius and wisdom. Kind of like those art experts looking at a single brush of paint on a canvas.

I love how this anime is literally just the final run of the princess many, many, many, MANY lifetimes later which change the diary lol
