I dont think that giraffe died due to a bellyshot. I think the power with the neck swing, and missing, caused the neck to break. Just like when an inexperienced boxer throws full power, misses the target and the shoulder pops. Same thing

This really exemplifies how dangerous these animals are. They may look fragile and spindly with those long legs and neck, but they are actually hardy and powerful as hell.

I’d imagine it’s kind of like an earthquake, where it doesn’t look too bad from far away, but up close it’s a lot worse. That kind of force could prolly launch a person but since they’re big it looks like they’re just slapping each other.
