This is why I love Percabeth so much. House of Hades was certainly a daunting chapter of their lives too, going to Hell and back, and this pretty much sums up their stronger relationship.

“If I tell you I love you, will dying be sweeter for us?” ~The song “Annabeth presses her lips to Percy’s ear. “I love you” She wasn’t sure he could hear her-but if they died, she wanted those to be her last words.” ~Annabeth in House of Hades When I heard that part I automatically thought to the part where Annabeth told Percy I love you because that’s what she wanted her last words to be if they died. Most likely what the artist was referring to, but I wanted to share in case others might have missed it.

If you’re sad about that then you should remember that Percy never even heard the “I love you”. If they died Annabeth’s last unheard words would be I love you.

So at first I thought this was in Percy's perspective, but when you said it was in Annabeth's the song just became that much more real to me. We normally think of Percy as the powerful, brave one, but sometimes forget the importance of Annabeth. If it wasn't for her, he defiantly would have gone insane in Tartarus, but Annabeth stayed strong for him

​@@madeleinestrandberg5163 If he did die that quickly then Annabeth wouldn't be far behind since she was still healing and had no weapon to fight with till she met Damasen. Likely Arachne would be the one to kill her, since Percy was the only one of them who noticed and had the speed to kill her before she could hurt Annabeth in the original storyline (Not my opinion Annabeth herself comments on it).

Not only was this absolutely amazing, I feel like it summed up everything you read in The House of Hades about Percy and Annabeth's trip through Tartarus. Reminds me of that time Percy said his mom swore Annabeth was the only reason he was alive, right before they met Nico and Bianca and in more ways than one, Sally was right.

I think the follow my voice thing works from Annabeth's POV if you think of when they first fell into the river and 'blackened waves' were on them and she had to use her voice to get him swimming.

It was in my recommended today and I had the stark realization of, “oh shit, this is percabeth!!!” I think that’s what sets a lot of your fansongs apart; they’re good songs before anything else. I'm late, but I'm so glad I stumbled apon this song as house of hades was my introduction to the series thanks to an aunt of mine who didn't know house of hades was part of a series. I didn't understand a lot, but it was still a emotional journey and was a bigger one after I actually read the books in order.

WHAT I MISSED THIS I was OBSESSED with the original and now I am BLESSED with this recording. It honestly blew me away the way you mixed everything and somehow made it more amazing. I also subconsciously still knew the words and lip synced along and that was pretty magical
