So innovative, so technologically advanced for the mid 70`s, brilliant showman/entertainer and then you have the main instrument, the VOICE. Never so many gifts bestowed on one human being. Too musically creative to appeal to the masses. The bulk of society will never understand a musical genius like Gino Vanelli.

Peter if you ever read this. I agree 100 percent. I think it was his genius that was his torture. I was 14 years old at the time of this release and was told my taste too advanced for my age as Gino was too advanced for his time. I hope he has peace and found what he was looking for. Much love to the fans and Gino.

i remember the music from the 70s as i was a teen. can you imagine something like this coming on the radio ? it was effortless to hear great music. Message intact, great arrangements, thought provoking lyrics and just a fantastic groove. no nostalgia here, i am recalling without peering through rose colored glasses. the music was just so damn good! all aboard my retro train back to the 70s...keep all shags & afros INSIDE the cabin space while in motion please.

Graham Lear the great on drums! Carlos Santana heard a Gino Vanelli song on the radio while on a flight during his 1975 tour and immediately set about finding a way to steal Graham for his band. He succeeded :) Graham was Santana's driving force behind the kit for 11 years between 1976-1987 before moving on to REO Speedwagon in 1987. Santana was never as good after that.
