I shared a practice room with the drummer, Reinhardt Melz, 1st year in college. At 18 yrs old he already had a solid sense of musicianship way beyond his years. Learned so much from him. Always loved this classic Gino tune. Great to hear you play on it, my matched grip brother!

He's had a lot of drummers but this one stands out to be the most reliable and loyal.

Gino is so underrated ... well maybe in my circles? But truly, he's amazing. And what a band here ... talk about musicianship! Tight and bright ... amazing

I've had the pleasure of seeing him live 3 X since the early 80s. The last time, I was a about a mere 10' from the stage, and I still swooned just like the younger me did when I first heard/saw him.

As I know it takes so much to get to this level of musicianship, I'm just grateful for being able to witness and listen to this!

Gino is excellent at delivering this beautiful composition with great chord progressions and solid arrangement. Note also how all the musicians in the band are also excellent!

+Collard Léopold No I confirmed personnel with Mr. Hinds himself. Holdsworth has never performed with Gino to my knowledge. Holdsworth has influenced so many guitarists.

Great hearing a more "jazzy" approach to this epic tune! I kinda miss those old drum kits with a lot of toms, but the more modern approach including more snare works just fine with me. As usual with Gino Vanelli: all musicians are at least a notch above top notch ;-)

Always loved Gini, since way back in the 70`s... what a band this is.. The great Allan Hinds on Guitar.. niceeeee

he's still looking good!

These guys are so ridiculously tight, yet so relaxed it's unbelievable. One of his best ensembles ever, except maybe for the very early Gino. Even his Vegas stuff with eight or nine people on stage can't touch this.

This is amazing.

The first time I heard about Gino 75/76 with the song .. Mama Coco great, it's a pity that he didn't take it here !!
