last night Incognito played this song at Java Jazz Festival here in Jakarta. I was in tears because knowing that the legend is not here anymore still hurts. I am sure he was watching from the jazz heaven above!

George was a massive musical influence in my youth, seeing his son's eulogy at his funeral also confirmed to me what a genuine kind spirit he was.

He was an genius. Rest In Peace, dear George Duke.

I love this man! George has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, he is the ultimate keyboard player, because he can play on any keyboard ever made! I cried when we lost his wonderful man because there will never be another like him! Rest in peace my musically gifted brotha!

This man is genius I saw him live in the 80s with Stanley Clark.. I feel very lucky to this day what a privilege . Did not know he passed to the other side.. Brazilian love affairs has to be up there with the greatest of all time. What's an incredible talent... Only the chosen ones have his gift

I love the homage to Frank Zappa at the end of this song. It's hard to believe but George started playing synths and singing only after considerable pressure from Frank to do so. George's singing and synth work on Inca Roads are just amazing. Thanks again Frank for seeing and unleashing this latent talent.

Truly, he was such a joy to see in concert. I also had the pleasure of meeting him in DC. He was a wonderful man and truly missed.

💜I am just catching up with all the gifted musicians who made their transitions. While caring for the children & building memories, there was no time. However, I thank tube for submitting their tracks & the musicians who are still among us. 💥☮️

Still one of my favorite live performances! I applaud Mr. George Duke, but also the rest of his incredibly talented ensemble. 👏 R.I.P Sir! ✌️ 😎

This album was released a year before my first long anticipated journey to Brazil which turned out to be an extended 6 months adventure of my lifetime. Everything he sings turned out to be more true than I could have ever imagined!

George's music is still with me everyday..

One of the best performances I've ever seen

With every concert video I witness of George Duke, I lament all the more the fact I never got the chance to see him live before he was taken far too early. I'll forever be amazed by his stratospheric talent and the sheer command he had of a keyboard, composing, and of a live show. Those who had the honour of sharing a stage with him know how blessed they were.

George Duke remains one of the top 3 influences on my keyboard-playing style and "world". Of about 5 or 6 live versions of B.L.A., this is my favorite. There aren't words to adequately sum of the length and breadth of George's musicianship and spirit. Thank you, dear George Duke.

I met George once at Whiskey Creek Restaurant/Concert venue in Redlands, Cal. 18 years ago. He was very gracious, kind, and completely incredible during the concert. RIP Brother, The Lord has a Mansion picked out just for you because of your faithfulness.

My God - as much as I miss George (and AL - today is his birthday) - this is healing for many of us to watch. I wonder if everybody on that stage knew that "THESE were The Good Old Days?" They were living their music, truth and lives in all its glory. Just stunning to witness!

When I was 16 and got my first car, it had an 8 track player in it. "From Me To You" was playing all the time. It started a lifelong love of George Duke. Don't regret a minute of it;
