How do you do punch out text in gimp 2.10.22 i think it is or the latest version right now. I tryed it but it doesnt look right it looks to light and the opacity was 100

Can two lines of image in text be done?

great video as always! i just wanted to ask u, i have problem with my brushes, when i move the cursor the circle keeps changing , so it only gives splashes of different size, i tried to reinstall gimp but that did nothing, i hope u have a great day mate.

Thanks for checking out the tutorial. Check your tool options - you may have either "Apply Jitter" checked or your "Dynamics" set to something other than "Dynamics Off."

Hi newbe here, why do we need to mask it? We can't just use the erase tool? Since the original text is used to make the path, I didn't get why we need to mask, great video 🎉

Masking does the same thing as erasing, only masking is non-destructive so you can go back at any time and tweak the mask (including adding pixels back). Gives you more flexibility
