Wild Bill here from the Show Me State. Well said my friend. The Hanson razor ROCKS!!! I have the black ++ version with a Gillette sliver blue blade. For me it gives me the best shave I've ever had. Try yours with a Gillette silver blue blade and see for yourself. 😊

They really dialed in the tension on this one. Luxurious feel. Quieter too! Carts are too damn much though.

It’s right there with Shavelogic when paired with a good soap or foam. Shavelogic wins the long-term battle IMO, but you can’t just pick up a pack of their carts at your local convenience store so ultimately the Exfoliating Bar razor is my new favorite 👋🏽

Hi Tony. Great video as always. The heated razor has been down to £50 here in the UK. The heated razor blades do differ slightly from the exfoliating ones though they are both compatible. Gold blades/blue lube strip v silver blades/white lube strip. Wonder if Gillette labs can come out with a 3rd type of razor?

I didn’t mind the marketing for Gillette recently. I always just stayed away from them because the commercials made it seem like the razor was gonna transform into a robot or something and the price was and still is pretty high for razors. Does look like a nice razor though!

@@averageguytested Gillette changed the scents of Foamy Regular and Sensitive to something that kind of resembles Their Cool Wave scent but it's a lighter and to me a more refreshing scent. But allot of people really seem to hate it. Their older can on Foamy Sensitive to me smells like a very light baby powder type of scent. The older can of Regular Foamy just has a very vague scent of something floral.

I agree with your comments about Gillette, they do make good products. But I haven’t used their products much over the last 5-8 years. I will say this, I still would buy their foamy red because I liked the scent. They changed the scent WITHOUT any notification(the old bait and switch I suppose) So you bought the can, got it home and realized it was different. That’s very unethical in my opinion for a business to operate in such a manner.

If they did changed without notifying the customer then they were wrong as well. To me it’s poor business practices. The thought of buying a product that you are familiar with only to find out it’s different (not just slightly different) without some type of notice is very questionable.

There’s a button on the back of the cartridge head that releases the cart. I’d go for as long as you can - try to make a month of shaves and keep going until the blades feel dull or ineffective

Amazon has a Bugatti Limited Edition heated razor.

Yes, I’ve seen that. They are still trying to get a premium price for that model.

The "exfoliating bar" just looks like a glorified skin stretching rubber strip with the same functionality as the microfins in most previous razors. With the downside that it isn't part of the cartridges so the handle must be eventually discarded once the rubber strip wears out. I believe Gillette said it should last 5 years. For a premium level razor, that's evil. Handles are supposed to carry you for the entire time you're buying carts, and you'd expect the flagship premium line to "LAST"

In regards to what you said about Gillette being woke. I honestly don't think it was anyone in Gillette but maybe more Black Rock that forced Gillettes hand. Black Rock owns Gillette and is one of the most woke companies in existence. If Gillette was still the Gillette from before they were bought out they never would've released an advertising campaign like they did. There's no company on the face of this earth that can survive by basically humiliating and criticizing their customer base without serious financial backing of some kind.

I think its extremely overpriced.. I'll just keep using my de razor.. maybe spend some money on a nice shave soap since I'm out of the old one..😊 cartridge ones are fine but in my country, i get 100 Wilkinson sword de blades for 230₹ and this labs thing is 1400₹. 😂 Don't get me wrong but this thing is among the greediest capitalist tricks of today.
