FYI , Gili Air its mean island of water, AIR in Indonesian its mean Water, so pronounce Air in Indonesian is Ayer

Gili T most probably is but Gili Air is built up for sure. Still a paradise though!

Lombok 💜 (not Bali). I don’t wish to labour the point that’s already been made but I do hope that other vloggers take more time to make this important distinction when they visit the Gili’s because it’s not accurate (nor is it fair) that Lombok is constantly being incorrectly labelled and promoted as being Bali.

Hey, thanks for your comment. Yes you are right it’s Lombok and when filming we sometimes made the mistake of saying Bali. We had a conversation before this video on whether to publish because of the mistake (by this point we were already back in the uk). We decided we’d rather publish with the mistakes than not promote Gili Air at all (as it wasn’t as spoken about as Gili T & felt it deserved to be shown for its beauty). We’re sorry if the mistakes have offended you & will try to do better next time. Thanks for watching & we hope you enjoyed the video still x

Yes - we do mention that. Was habit after spending so long in Bali. Lombok however is a different Indonesia island - not a different continent.

Lombok is a different Indonesian Island and also located in Australasia meanwhile Bali is located in Asia - Look up The Wallace Line and you might realise you are wrong

It’s part of the bio geographic “realm” of Australasia but not the geographic. On a geographic basis all of Indonesia is part of Asia.

Indonesia is so spread out that it is in Asia, Australasia and Oceania - the Lombok Strait between Bali and Lombok is very deep - the Animals and fauna of Bali is totally different to Lombok and so it is regarded more of being a part of Australasia - Whichever way it is looked at so many tourists think that they are in Bali and mention it even when they are in Lombok - Many tourists even think that Bali is a country I know many tourists don't realise Bali and Lombok are different but i know that most people that live here on Lombok get a bit fed up of being classed as Bali -Either way Indonesia is a beautiful place and well worth coming here for holidays or long term
