Gili Air is the third and final Gili island we’re visiting while in Indonesia. On this trip, we took a local slow boat from Gili Meno. You can check out our adventures on Gili Meno Island as well as Gili Trawangan. We’re really excited to see what Gili Air has to offer.

The Island keeps changing - in 2011 it was something, now it has more noise but more comforts- some of the Gili Air fans who moved there, may have moved on in a quest for that wild and quiet feel

As tourism increases, we'll keep seeing that happen to the best places to go. We try to show amazing travel all over but find that people keep looking for specific spots on KZread. Hopefully we grow faster so we can influence more people to share the tourism having less of an effect on places like this.

Between one and two hours depending upon how leisurely you walk. Don't forget to enjoy some of the streets crossing through the island as well.
