If you don't have to be ready when you are 18 years old then which metrics are they using to draft players in the NBA?This is a stupid debate. There is a reason why you are being drafted. You get drafted based on your talent and your ability to become a great player so, which metric is been used in this case for Bronny? Is it because of his father or is it because he is good. If it is because of his father, then why we complain when rich people hand over opportunities for their kids? Why do we complain when people get job based on connections?

Blame wade for pushing his gay son into the spotlight more than his basketball son . I haven’t see Zaire in 3 years with his dad but you always see that little boy with a wig and dress on

Not every player drafted is an automatic starter or all start or all team caliber play and some people expect to be all those things coming out sometimes never do anything darko milicic? But hey he shouldn’t be first round but to think he can’t play basketball at that level is nuts

Bronny ain't ready. Plain and simple. He might have the potential but don't throw the poor kid in the fire just cuz his daddy wants to fulfill a dream. That's too much pressure on the kid! He's just being used as a pawn to lure LeBron to play for a certain team(or back with the Lakers). He needs another year in college where he can hone his craft OR play a year with the G-League Ignite. Daddy Bron can wait.

Take the name away. Is prospect X an NBA caliber player if he averaged: Points per game 4.8 Field Goal % 36.6 3PT Field Goal % 26.7 Free Throw % 67.6 Rebounds per Game 2.8 Assists per game 2.1 No.

3/3/.08 on 32/22/69 was a first round pick a couple years ago. A college player averging 12ppg is top 5 pick in many drafts.

Bro Gil played damn near when Vince played (close enough). I can’t believe he was hating on 8ppg from a North Carolina freshman in the 90’s. That was probably one of the higher freshman ppg under the legendary coach. Bronny played more minutes per game and averaged 5 less points.
