I originally passed on this set for monetary reasons, and I don't have a HISS. I canceled my preorder of the 788 Fire Team for the same reason. Then...I got a better job. SOOOooooo now I have gone back and ordered both. As soon as I have the scratch, I will pay the aggressively priced after-market HISS tank. Hopefully it will still be around when I get there.

I think when the stinger comes later this year people are going to regret not grabbing this when they had the chance (I’m sure this will sell out soon)

I was in a similar situation. I got into the Classified line with my two sons way late so we missed out on the HISS Haslab. I finally found a whole unopened set, figures and everything for $500. That’s the best deal I have been able to find but it’s awesome! Now, we have bought the HISS Fire Team and this HMS set…..it all looks great together! Good luck and I’m sure you will get the HISS!

Mine will be here tomorrow. Can't wait. I was able to find a complete HISS tank (unopened) yesterday at a local toy shop and picked it up. Now I'll have the complete set.

awesome review as always i just realized that it's the same price as serpentor and i wouldn't be surprised if they do destro disploer at the same price point. can't wait to get mine and the hiss but I'm still saving for that

This all should’ve come as tiers with the hiss haslab… would’ve been a killer set!

I like it...but not "$75 bucks like it". Will hope it goes on sale at some point. Nice review...almost tempted me into getting it.

I passed on the HISS, still on the fence with it but when the fire team came out, oh yeah I'm signed up for that one and then the HMS!!! Do you know how many times I have wished for a Cobra HISS with the SMS! The original Sears exclusive!! My mom worked at Sears for years and I would go to her job after school and do my homework and wait for my mom to get off work! NOW I have the HMS! It's beautiful!! Might have to get that HISS!!

I got 2 of these to go with my two HISS tanks and my two sets of fire team. As you were right to show, the HISS Tactician is a member of this group as he is a black/grey/red repaint just like the rest of these guys. I usually get three of each troop builder, but in this case two will do, the Tank and HMS are too expensive for any more!

I’m digging what the Team did with the Techno Viper in this line. It was one of my favorite Cobra Troops as a kid. The black, red and gray really makes this squad look elite. Hopefully I’ll be able to snag a couple more CHT Techno Vipers on the secondary for a reasonable price. A squad of 4 would be dope in or on a shelf dio. ✌🏽

Good review. I didn't like the tow arm, felt loose and weak to me. Blast effects???? come on hasbro gi joe team, that just makes sense to have blast effects. I definitely want the Stinger now. I dont think we will get rattler for next haslab, my money is on a dreadnok themed item. or something water based. just my two cents. Thank you Bobby for the review.

Solid review! Mine should arrive this week. Bummer w/ TV missing any 788 badges. The new paint and fancy box make it 79… otherwise it’s a 54.99 item. I will display it near my HISS like a small playset. I totally agree with battlefield accessories: outpost defender etc. It would allow collectors to create mini settings for their displays.

Great review! This looks cool but I passed on all the HISS items due to space. I did break down and get the VAMP though. And for anyone wondering, a VAMP fits perfectly on top of a comic short box. 😂

The 1983 MSV set had a vamp with a rocket battery exactly like this. It was a Cobra set. I believe exclusive to Sears Canada. so I am willing to bet we get that vehicle for Cobra with some random driver and then you can have that tow this piece.

If the rattler comes with 4 figures like the hiss I’d like to see the baroness in her blue flight suit , a retro major blood and a retro cobra trooper and obviously wild weasel

Got it on the way, but I don't have a HISS tank. Still love the black and red theme . I'll add it to my Crimson Strike Team with Red Skull as their leader.

I want to pack this back up takes up to much space but can't get the wheels off like the vamp. If you know how please help! Awesome videos!

It’s dope but I think they could’ve made it a little more interesting but putting that fan on the bottom and make it to were it spins to cool it off!! It would be a dope accessory!!

One HISS Tank, two Fire Teams, Two HMS and it will all be displayed in a VS Dio set up with the Dragonfly. I'm curious, what set do think best accompanies the Dragonfly? I'd think JUMP play set or MAYBE Checkpoint Alpha?

Was gonna get 2. Way too much for what it came with. Should have been to 20 to 25 dollars cheaper. When it goes on clearance i'll get another. if it doesn't go on clearance then im good with one.

I got this because I got the dragonfly, my cobras need a way to take down the joe copter.

I think if enough people call Hasbro pulse and put a request in for the next haslab project to be the Rattler I think we might be more promising towards that and I heard a rumor that the next 788 ground assault team will be major blood and some ground assault Vapors😊😊😊

I was too hesitant about backing the dragonfly because of financial situations at the time play kicked myself in the seat of the pants later about it I'll definitely back the Rattler no hesitation if that happens Financial situations are not😮

price point was a bit high IMO
