What an amazing trip and creative little libraries! I've been home sick the last few days and traveling by proxy has been a comfort 😊. I hope the recovery from your surgery is going well. We Have Always Lived in the Castle is a very claustrophobic read, but in a good way if that makes sense.

I hope you feel better soon! I'm glad the videos gave you a bit of comfort. :) Surgery recovery is going really well. I'm two weeks post-op and will have my first check up tomorrow. Ohh good to hear. I like a claustrophobic read.

Yes! It was fun. There are some here in Las Vegas, but not nearly as many as I've found in other cities. Albuquerque really takes the cake though. They have sooo many.

I wish we had lots of little free libraries here, I did see one in an old red phonebox the other day which was cool. Shirley Jackson is great and I have the same edition and love it, such an odd book.

Loved seeing all the little free libraries! I love all the different designs, so creative! And a very fun and creative way to unhaul books! I loved We Have Always Lived in the Castle, hope you do too! I tried reading Tender is the Flesh/Cadaver Exquisito in spanish but I just was not enjoying it (for the content not the language) so I dnf'd it. Would love to hear your thoughts on it when you get to it!

Thank you! The little free libraries really are so creative. Good to know about Lived In The Castle. I'm excited to read it. Interesting to hear about Tender Is The Flesh. I know it's a pretty rough subject, but I love that sort of dark, dystopian vibe, so I expect I'll enjoy it. I'll definitely update you once I get into it. :)

Do you know why Albuquerque has so many LFL? Maybe they have a different library system?

It doesn’t look like they’re library system is wildly different. It just seems like a very artsy, literary focused city with a lot of social engagement.

There is a website littlefreelibrary.org where they have a map. They also have an app as well that you can download into your phone. It's helpful because it will show you and lfl within 5 miles of your location.
