Tonight I happened to do a KZread search for you and this was top of the list. I have listened to and worshipped along with your beautiful music since I became a Christian through an Assemblies of God Church in High School back in 1980. At university I became part of the Charismatic Christian Community in Ann Arbor, MI and learned to treasure the richness of the Catholic and Orthodox liturgies, and to appreciate other Protestant Churches. So much of what you shared in this talk resonated with my experiences. I was so encouraged by your clear presentation of scripture and your personal examples, as well as how you drew in Church fathers and history, giving such a gentle yet stirring call to meet with God in a profound way. Thank you. To top it all off, you started with Come Worship the Lord, one of my favourite worship songs!

A word of faith church before the Toronto 3 wave I went to spontaneously broke out in the gift of laughter. We worshipped so strongly all kind of gifts came. Visions from te lord. God loves are worship as you demonstrate in your music. I heard even Calvin broke out in tongues but he shut it down in himself.

Listening to John Micheal, reminds me of how David sang songs to soothe King Saul. What a gift God has given this man. This is why one that has not seen but yet believes. We can see God all around us, as long as we open our hearts and minds.

I am so glad you had this teaching and am very happy to hear that you have been given the gift of speaking in tongues. The last time i talked with you was at a service in Champaign il and at the end of the service you invited me to go to the Holy Land with you,my name is Steve. Now i feel we are more on the same page.I started speaking in tongues in 1973 when someone prayed for me after a Christ is the Answer tent meeting. Now that i thought about it awhile we talked before the service started about the area of the first or second pew and that was the first time you asked me to go on the trip and i said i didn't have the money.John don't you remember me?Sometimes they call me "He who changes his face".

Wonderful teaching, I would just be cautious about non-Christian speaking in tongues, since we don't know what they are saying. If they do not acknowledge Christ as coming in the flesh, could be diabolical.

What ever happened to the John Talbot who sang against the sin of the Church. Paul never taught praying to the saints he called all believers saints. Jesus taught us not to pray repetitiously like the " heathen". ie(.the Rosary ) the desert fathers introduced heretical practice and doctrine to Catholicism. The Apostles gave themselves to sound Apostolic doctrine. Jesus is the only way. All other false religions will damn the souls of the practitioners. The ecumenical movement is a great deception that rejects the true Gospel and pollutes it with false teaching. God is also a God of judgement. Let's not forget the " severity of God" Mystcism is pagan and introduces one to false spirits that can mimic the true gifts of the Holy Spirit. Beware folks. " A little leaven leavens the whole lump" check out the book "the whore of Babylon " by David Hunt.

you are exactly right. The expressions tonight are complete nonsense. Was the name of Jesus as Lord ever mentioned? Was the blood He shed at Calvary ever mentioned? This is foolish inner searching and seeking rather than speaking and acting on what has already been clearly given in God's Holy Word. No wonder Roman Catholicism is the dirty whore of Babylon- keeps quoting some old so- called saints as experts. Why not quote something from the Son of God? from Jesus! What a dirty shame this is.

scripture tells us it is a gift God gives to believers. You can ask Him and seek from him. Whatever you did before conversion, you can leave behind you, that's ok. It is a wonderful gift of God's grace I treasure, and it helps me in prayer and breakthru to God. I first experienced this about 50 years ago. Still value it greatly.
