Its not bad at all on survivor! Especially when you know where all the strong tiles are at! I never feel disadvantaged on survivor in base kit, but there are whole killers that feel awful to play as in base kit 😂

@@cblocc5988 My guy, run the loop yourself in game instead of just imagining how it plays out. Ofc you're not gonna outun a highly mobile killer but you can run an alternate path and threaten a crouch tech if it's blight or billy. Any M1 killer is easily stuffed, especially because the pallet links to vault drop down that you can link to meat freezer. I try to un-genblock the nearby door as second priority. I've run the loop multiple times myself and probably even have a VoD or two lying around of me doing it and getting 2-3 loops before pallet drop.

This video won me a chase on this tile as Unknown, knew EXACTLY how to cut them off and get the down. Awesome guides, can’t wait for more :D

This is EXACTLY what I love to read! Makes me want to get more out asap! Am currently working on the Ormond full guide, but probably going to put a short video on the saloon main loop (first loop any survivor should learn) then a follow-up video on that door of opportunity there and why killers shouldn't open it! Basically do a short tip video every week that I don't finish a longer complete guide! But Once the longer guides are done I could basically do a shorter tip video like per day! These shorter ones take like no time to make!

I haven't been able to go through all the guides yet and couldn't even fully absorb everything in the ones I've seen, but they are just packed full of helpful stuff like this and have helped me a ton when I swapped to solo queue survivor to start grinding that side of the game. I got use of the greeding tip of just pausing for a brief moment at a pallet to make it look like you're dropping and got so many extra loops on so many simple tiles, and it's so hilarious when there's a swing or they go the other way but I've already moved on from greeding.

Greeding pallets is the most fun thing in all of dbd! If it didn't work I'd be a killer main 😂It just always feels kinda scandalous not using a resource, but still getting the full value of that resource right in front of the opposing player! Nothing really like it in any other games I've played!

I like the bathroom loop on Midwhich, not nearly as technical but satisfying when you get the killer to chase you as you're coming out. If they break the pallet on the wrong side it's an easy hit or down.

@@gloob4742 The killer also has to hug the left side tightly if they drop down! I f they don't they nick the van on the right side and get pushed back to the left a bit but their hitbox is slightly bigger than survivors are so its trickier for them!

That's awesome to hear! I get worried about the obnoxiouness of the clips when it comes to the longer looping guides and that they might distract from the learning but this game is so damn fun/hilarious! Def don't want to be in study mode while playing but learning can happen even if study mode isn't active! That 7 hour vid is pretty old too so there are definitely WAY more ways to loop stuff since that video was posted though! Your videos are amazing! The RPD one made me a big fan, my most hated map became the best map. The transitions and loops are just too good that even with 4 escapes the killer commented “those were some good chase”

@@Mr_TatorHead The way i play wesker vs this pallet is I just jump down, you go to the pallet, i press my ability, vault over. When i play trapper, i always put a trap on that pallet or i put it just as you fall.

This is the most fun loop on Gideon imo! Ironically the strongest loop on Gideon pallet plant is actually a window! (The freezer)

No problem! It spawns on one side or the other since it's an entrance tile! If you see the entrance with the 2 white vans it would be directly across the map from you at the other entrance! It's a guaranteed tile!

Yes ! I love this tile and the best thing about it is no one ever seems to use it so it's always there when I am being chased on this map, I can't remember ever being chased on meat plant and being like oh shit this pallet is gone.

Someone Suggested I use a flashlight for future videos and that is a great idea! I already had todays vid ready, so I'm late on that one but I will try to remember next week! I am usually the killer sitting afk on the switch while I run my yap on survivor on pc! but before I had it on the switch, my friend YaboiMLT sat afk for me while I ran my yap!

Still getting caught not looking back when I'm thinking it's 50/50 even if I path as efficiently as possible that I make a pallet, and get stressed that the loss of any distance whatsoever would cause it to go from a 50/50 to straight up getting hit. There are definitely times still, even after 8500 hours, where I knew I was going to get hit for sure, only to get hit by the most bizarre of mind games, when I wouldn't have made the window anyway, like freezer where the pathing is a bit intricate without sacrificing any efficiency, while looking behind and hitting that angled running vault!

In the example part, that Clown was console and fairly new to him. He started off good by dropping a yellow bottle, but it was all dowhill from there. This player doesn't know if you hit the ceiling, the pink cloud falls down. This makes it so you don't have to be so accurate on throws. If he does that, the start of the chase becomes a bit easier for him. Instead he's trying to aim the pink bottles the whole time, wasting a ton of bottles in the process. He missed, A LOT, which is why I'm guessing he's console. He missed a few times before even getting to that point. I always had a feeling about this tile, which is why I aim to get rid of it as quickly as possible. I think a big reason as to why this loop isn't played right most of the time is because the surrounding tiles usually don't have pallets at this point, so even if you run this well, you're not getting anywhere afterward. Most people just say "fuck it we drop" instantly because the pallets have been used everywhere else, people would rather play extremely safe on Gideon for whatever reason. The amount of times I play on this map and chase someone for a minute straight, eating pallet after pallet, it just sets up for a very easy EGC because people's way too safe mindset on this map.

Yeah he was not playing optimally...needs to read the 72 page clown guide! 😂 In all seriousness the pvp aspect of dbd is just capitalizing on mistakes of the other side! If people don't try to mind game at all, but also don't make any mistakes, it can still be VERY effective! But the shorter chases for killer, and longer chases for survivor aren't possible without taking some risks trying some mind games, that may backfire and make the shorter/longer chases possible in the first place! And your right and it's crazy! With no surrounding tiles you would think not cornering yourself by running right at it to chuck it would be the instinctive play, but instead its just to run at pallet and throw! That's the problem with dbd, it's not complicated to think about it or do, but for some reason so many of us run by this (and many other) tiles without thinking twice about it! Probably because it's video games and we use it as an outlet so we don't want to think that hard and just play 😂

Seems like it! Throwing the pallet at that point pay have been a good play too since it would have broke and they wouldn't have been able to m1 yet, and holding w to the square segment to the right may have also been a play! Making mistakes is the best way to learn as long as ya learn from them!

Good killers would’ve downed you (for example, if the clown used his bottles correctly). You should practice looking backwards in chase! Nice video, very informative!

Thanks mate! The clown seemed newer to the tile, and admittedly was an older clip, but I don't throw pallets much and that was one of the more recent pallet throws on this tile. The other 2 weren't playing the tile bad but were losing 50/50s (like the juke at the stepdown v billy, and the slipstream anticipating the pallet throw from the singularity). Looking behind as often as possible is always going to be an ongoing battle! I still tend to get caught not looking behind when I think the most efficient pathing is possible or its a guaranteed hit! Got lucky that the clown anticipated the pallet throw, but in that case I wasn't sure I would have made the pallet even if the clown had dropped down! and because of that it should have gotten me down! But that instance was another case of "better to be lucky than good" 😂

I think he was trying to get the pallet to break with the teleport! He kept teleporting as I was passing through the pallet thinking it would break, but in tiles like this where there is something bigger that you can loop next to the pallet you can just loop around that and make it back to the pallet as overclock is ending or after it has ended! They did misplay it though!

I could actually make any video currently! I really want to make these shorter vids on maps I had already made a full guide for, so that it could be referenced for more examples if needed! That one is a relatively newer map, and although I do have more than enough clips to make that guide, I have much more examples on other maps and should do those first! I plan on having a full guide for every map in the game by the anniversary next year! Or at least close! After that I could literally make like 5 of these a week since I wouldn't have to spend so much time on the larger ones! Was hilarious timing too! Someone that had gotten eliminated in that match was in chat complaining that they got eliminated because I was running no perks and how I couldn't possibly do anything useful without any perks...then that chase happened and the killer let us go 😂

I need to get better with movement. Yours is so clean while mine means I rarely get more than two loops out of anything. Doesn't help that my frames are in the dumpster, but still, finding how to move more cleanly is HARD

Practice it everywhere you are going in the game! If you are pathing towards a gen, be hugging the wall the whole time and cut the corners as close as possible every time you ever round one! Same with unhooks when you are running towards the hook!

As a killer who actually likes Gideon, that pallet is pretty annoying if the survs know how to run it. Then again, it's just another example of how the meat plant is ONLY god pallets (with like 2 exceptions). The best way to counter this one in particular is not to even humor it, and make the survs waste their time trying to flee to it for safety, when you're already going after one of their out positioned teammates. It's usually not around a gen, so survs spend more time trying to get to it than is worth it if you don't go after them.

Yeah Gideon is either no fun on killer, or the killer is basically op! It's the only map offering from killers that makes me raise my guard since killers like Legion, Plague, Nemesis, Doctor, Knight, and especially Nurse are insanely strong on it! But almost all the other killers are at risk of getting no hooks if subjected to predrops paired with gen efficiency! The good news is theres like 5 windows on the whole map and one of them is pretty useless at the double van entrance! So most of the resources can be removed!...it just takes all game to do all the pallet kicking 😂

On this map for sure! But even then, the killers that are strong at this map would basically be undefeatable on it! Killer just kind of feels like that in general though! Every killer feels like there are a few maps the killer feels borderline OP on, and every other map is an eyes roll on a scale of 1-10 😂

That Singularity should not have respected that pallet at all. Trying to break it with power in this situation is just as greedy as a survivor not throwing it. Take the stun and shoot imo. I don’t think a survivor makes cover in time on this tile.

It's easier said than done! I'm always telling myself not to respect pallets as killer, but SO many survivors just throw every pallet, that I get used to profiting off of the respect. Then suddenly there is the one survivor that greeds and I lose the game over it! I personally think he was trying to have me cornered with the pallet broken, because if he didn't have me cornered with the pallet broken, I could have made it to another tile! Even when I went down I could have made it to the pallet in the next room with the positioning! I think he was trying to avoid that! Luckily for him I was an idiot and tunnel visioned on trying to greed that pallet again 😂

I honestly think it's better for you and for your watchers to make shorter videos for the single tiles and make playlists for each map. Helps you get more reach, views and maybe money. And then for your watchers it's definitely easier to remember one video a day about one loop they do instead of watching 6 hours. It's about the mentality mostly too. Most would not watch multiple hour long videos about every single loop. If you still wanna keep it maybe make the whole map shorter like only show how to loop every loop by running it. But the details for ever single loop are in the separate videos. That would again help your channel grow more because the more videos you produce the more you will be shown to others.

This is exactly the plan! I want to break down all the longer guides into single tip shorter videos! I do want to get more of the longer guides done as well since they can tell a fuller story, but aint nobody got time for watching that! The plan is to make shorter versions of map guides I have already done, so that the tips will be very minimal and easy to digest, but to answer the whole "well it works against wraith sure, but what to you do against huntress?" questions! That way when the inevitable "This doesn't work consistently, you only showed 2 examples of it working" comment shows up, I can already have a longer more in depth guide to go be like "go watch the 6 hour video for the full story, theres 20 more examples of it working there". But these shorter ones are SUPER easy to make! I am aiming to make about 1 per week while still working on the longer guides, and when I am done with the longer ones, I could literally make a daily tip video! This particular video literally only took me 20 minutes to make 😂

That's the funny thing about Gideon! For most killers it's one of the most obnoxious maps in the game, and for a very few killers the map is borderline op! Artist doesn't really specialize at Gideon or anything, but artist is just in general one of the strongest killers in the game if played right!

He held just a bit too hard to the right side and nicked the edge of the van and it pushed him to the left a bit! It's a bit tricky for killer since their hitbox is bigger than survivors is but survivors can do the same thing! You can avoid this by hugging left as you drop down the half-step!

And its so mechanically easy that it shouldn't take the 4k hours that seems to be recommended to play at a comp level! With how simple looping really is, all it should take is like 500 - 1k hours to be able to loop at a comp level I think!

@@QQysosrs Exactly! I had a few thousand hours of passing STRONG setups and never thinking twice about it! Suddenly started noticing a lot of them and how they went over my head all the time! Always just blamed it on mistiming dead hard and stuff like that when I'd go down! But almost every time you get downed, there is something to be learned there! There are also killers where you did what you wanted to and they just straight up outplayed you too! Best to tip the cap in those scenarios 😂 And you too mate!

Using dbd on the switch as killer! Before dbd on the switch went on sale I had my friend YaboiMLT staying in the lobby! I still credit him and will continue to credit him going forward for the full on juicing guides even though I can do it solo now! I just owe him a ton for doing that for me!

I purchased the game while it was on sale for the nintendo switch and sit in a corner afk on that while I run my yap on PC as survivor! I used to have a friend YaboiMLT hanging out while I rand my yap, but since I have it on the switch now, I don't need him to do me that specific favor anymore! I am forever grateful to him for doing that for me! I wish there was an easier way though mate! :(

If you were trying to avoid getting stalked, looping no tile is a good idea as the best idea in that scenario would be to break line of sight and hold w. But just for the fuck of it lets say you did run to this tile anyway. You'd still be able to break line of sight by getting around the van, which would force him to take the half step down and let you get to the next tile in the next room (usually a worse tile with little to no way to break line of sight), or he would push you around the other way, which would both allow you to throw the pallet and escape to the next room , or just escape to the next room without even using it. Either way it would force him to walk all the way around the van, which would feed into this strategy. Plus, even if myers did get unlimited tier 3, that is far from throwing the game. Myers is a basic m1 killer even with tier 3, so there is no reason to panic or loop any differently just because you are exposed. You would loop a perma tier 3 myers the exact same way you would legion, or even plague if they don't have their power.

Funniest part about this chase, was one of the survivors that had died was salty in chat trash talking about how I threw the game because I had no perks and how I was the reason they died somehow...then this chase happened and the billy let me go while they were yelling at me 😂 I cut the part out of the video but right as we escaped, definitely turned to them like "sorry I'm so useless without any perks mate" 😂

I love this video and your analysis but my one advice is to be more specific with the scenarios and locations you are describing " if the killer pushes us here or he goes there" its unclear where exactly "here" or "there" is to the viewer. its hard to visualize a lot what you are seeing. you could fix this by making on screen drawings or simply just have a killer in the customer game with you to simulate what you are talking about.

PLEASE for the love of god people dont use this pallet early in the matc ive been in so many end game situations while the exit door pallet is absolutely necessary

The other pallet is the good one for end game! This pallet you gotta go out of your way in terms of efficient pathing, and give the killer a chance to actually down you! To be able to use this pallet in end game (while not talking about pallet saves), you need both a teammate there, on time, to bodyblock the dropdown, as well as be coming from the correct direction! It can be useful coming from the room from the left, but there are only a handful of killers that that would be useful against! The other entrance however has a great pallet for end game! but its pretty useless throughout the rest of the match since you would have yourself pinned inbetween 2 very easily mindgamable vans, but in the end game you would be running straight at the door, which is exactly when that pallet would be useful!

@@Mr_TatorHead theyre both extremely useful regardless in end game and it can often times be the difference between 4 man out and 3 man out(etc), and most of the time in end game your teammates are playing altruistically so youll usually have that help theres plenty of pallets on the map to use mid match, but i mean if youre on a swf with good comms and everyones competent then it dont really matter

Survivor is really fun and I don't really ever feel disadvantaged without perks on it! Once all the maps were figured out it really just comes down to a lot of 50/50s and anyone can do any of that! Killer I feel disadvantaged a lot 😂

I smoke before every gaming sesh! It's the last thing I do before I go live is smoke some herb! I then also play Jake in the trix yogurt color jumpsuit for the first few warm up matches so that they can be easter eggs in the full map looping guides as well! The beginning chase to the Wreckers Yard guide was a warm up jump suit jake match! It was also an epic chase and long af! But right around the 00:04:20 mark I start laughing my fucking ass off in that vid cuz that chase was hilarious right after smoking! 😂

All the killers i play against are much faster for some reason

You are probably not pathing quite tight enough! Ever corner you go around tightly is another opportunity to pull away from killers! A lot of time killers wont round corners (or path in general) as absolutely tightly as possible! Every time you don't you give them an opportunity to close distance and not gain any if they don't! Survivors actually have a smaller hitbox than killers, so they can literally loop tighter! You have to think about this when rounding every single corner, and running straight lines toward those corners. It's geometry in that the hypotenuse (running straight at the corner or window) is shorter than the sum of the other 2 sides (if you run in a box formation where you run out, then straight at the corner or window), and if you don't capitalize by running efficiently, the killer will gain on you. There are other windows where pathing alone can save you in this manner. The window on disturbed ward with the extremely jagged pathing is a perfect example of a window you will get extra vaults out of by literally just running as efficiently as possible, since most killers won't, especially at that tile.

so does the killer have to have his monitor off for this to work? in what world is there enough distance to loop all way around again, killer is catching u easilly and then after watching rest of video even ur examples show it doesnt work the clown was literally been a clown just playing with u keeping u trapped but not commiting to hit u, and then the billy didnt want u to open gate thats why he didnt commit in certain places and then he literally caught u on first loop around but missed his chainsaw lmao what a brainwashed video just shows how many people will watch someting but not actually watch it. All this loop does is put u in a dead zone

Well, in Otzdarva's new video, he was trying to remember how I said to loop this tile, and gave this channel a shoutout just because the trickiness of this tile seemed to remind him of my video on it. So if you are trying to insult Otzdarva (and players like him) by this remark, you just succeeded! Half of this video was 3 different examples of looping this tile vs 3 different killers. I don't know if you know this, but killers powers make loops work differently! This makes loops work differently so as many different examples are needed to make a point. This video should be much longer if I was going to explain the tile properly with a thorough amount of examples. Communities not bad at all! Just not everybody can just look at a tile, and immediately know how to loop it, like you say you can, and if you don't like how long it went on for, there was definitely something you could have done about it (like go to another video), besides take even more time to leave a comment! But I thank you for doing that because it really helps me! Also there are no videos on your channel to show that you know how to properly loop this tile, or that you have pulled it off! How is the community supposed to learn from people that "know" how to loop this tile, if all they do is go around to other people actually trying to teach to try to insult them?
