I am pretty sure he said the guitar was hand made so that leads me to Custom Shop Gibson? The sound is AMAZING.

This was the best promotional video ever! Gibson could not have picked a better artist to represent them. Alejandro Aranda/Scarypoolparty is a virtuoso on guitar and piano. His beautiful music touches the soul and leaves you spellbound. He is a brilliant songwriter and also produces electronic music which is unreal. Fan for life. He is amazing live!

I agree with Carlos. Just because you like him and he's good doesnt make him a virtuoso. I like alejandros playing very much but its basic chord shapes with a multitude of hammer ons and pull offs.

Oh god another random keyboarder lobbing insults... I said I liked his playing and my complaint was with people calling him a virtuoso because it's an insult to actual virtuosos. Be gone, old man.

This was a great watch. He seems a lot more confident now, but still the humble Alejandro we fell in love with.

Well played Gibson! Never thought I'd want to watch a commercial over and over! But gosh, his fingers just pull out the notes like magic. It's actually emotional. And he's just a really nice guy which makes it all even better! And he mentioned NICK DRAKE!! that's so awesome.

I'm pretty sure by "couple" he meant a few years. He has guitar clips older than a couple years...I think he said 4years in one interview. Regardless he is sensational.

He began playing music at the age of 20, when he started singing and playing guitar in the street under the stage name Scarypoolparty. He's 24 well almost 25 so Almost 5 yrs of playing Music.

Cassette Walkman , Actually he said he started listening to classical music on the piano at age 8 because his older sister played the piano. Alejandro did not start playing himself until age 20 and he’ll be 25 August 11, 2019.

Check his Instagram or KZread (@ScaryPoolParty) page clips where he's playing keyboard and it's probably much closer to the style you were thinking that he'd play. His playing and songwriting vibe on guitar is very different than his piano and synthesizer vibes. Either way he's insanely talented. Look up the song "Blesser" in particular and you'll see what I mean. He also plays bass; he toured with a guy called Twin Shadow last year and you can see him in a few clips.

Guitar lessons are actually stuck in the past. Like Alejandro, people are better off learning on their own if they really want to master an instrument nowadays. Maybe lessons for the basics and fundamentals, but after that, it's better to just learn on your own. Less stressful that way too.
