When I was in rehab..(I know) there was an elderly man who was an alcoholic…the rest of us were in there for opioids…we had a group session one day and the group leader asked what instrument we’d want to play if we could. I said the keyboard or piano, and the old man criticized me horribly…I never knew why he was so mean to me… but the group leader did call him out for constantly insulting me… This same man who was constantly cruel to me, shit his bed every night and the stench was so bad all his roommates had to leave and sleep in the lobby… He’s probably dead now… I never did anything to him, and I was very nice to everyone there! The other older men and women had nick names for me…this particular man was just unnecessarily mean! I really don’t know what his problem was. I was 22 at the time and this man was in his late 60s or early seventies! He was just un warranted mean as hell to me for NO reason! Thank goodness I made friends with everyone else.. I’m always so nice to everyone I meet…he was a miserable peice of work!! He definitely focused on me for some reason…there were lots of other men and women his age at the rehab and we became great friends..

@@michellehart6780 Alcoholics and opium addicts have always been sworn enemies. Is probably because opium addicts would sell their own mother to finance their addiction while the alcoholic is just a piece of shit, honest but still a piece of shit. Who knows, maybe there was something about your character traits that reminded him of something dark from his past. Maybe you just weren't as good and nice as you remembered. In any case, it would be interesting to know what his side of the story is. I always try to look at both sides of the coin before making a judgment.

I just diagnosed with Cancer this end of 2023. And all music from Gibran Alcocer are really help me

I'm crying so bad right now, because I used to listen to this song while preparing for my residency exam and I failed. This brings back that sleepless night feeling, waking up tired every morning but not being able to rest, the urge i had back then to give up, the efforts i made, saying no to going out, saying no to breaks..
