You should also point out the price between the two and as well as how much the ops core arms (when opened) snag on stuff compared to the otto/gibbuous.

This is actually a very good point and I'm sorry I missed it. The cost of the Gibbous / otto combo is significantly less than the ops / axl combo.

you just sold me on the gibbous outfitters adapters, been on the fence for awhile since my 3M mounts work fine, but these seem to be a massive upgrade over the amp arms. The locking feature on the otto arms will be a nice feature to have.

So I actually got the Gibbious adapter to use with the Otto noise bearer rail Arms and connected my Ops core bars to the OTTO arms with the gibious adapter. I have never seen anyone else with my setup but I absolutely love it. Get the best of all benefits offered by the top brands and I don’t have to use those Opscore AMP arms that annoy the shit out of me.

This was the perfect video I needed. I’m going with a team Wendy exfil and Otto ears, and this mount looks exactly like what I needed

I’ve never used them, but just from this video, it seems that Otto/Gibbous is the best of both worlds. It has everything advantage that AMP Arms and Peltor 3M has but none of the disadvantages.

Yeah, I'm currently using the Peltor mounts on ComTac III's and debating hitting the submit button on my order. I'm not really seeing a reason not to so far. These would clear the top of the ARC rail and give me full travel on my swivel scout light, they'd hang the weight off the back of the helmet so I can hopefully drop a little counterweight, and they don't have that loud-ass CLACK when you pop them in or out, but they still hover around the same distance as the Peltors do for venting without your shit sticking 90 degrees off your head. I think the only potential downside I'm seeing is they may not hold the cups as snugly to your head, but I guess I'm gonna find out for myself in a couple weeks. I just talked myself off the fence.

Thanks for the video, man. Good stuff, really helped me make a decision. I'm gonna give them a try.

How have the arms otto arms been holding up. Just got a pair with the gibbous outfitters adaptor for comtacs and I'm slighty worried about where the metal arms rub agains the plastic swivel when you click them in tight.

@nicholascorbin2647 so believe it or not I felt the same way when I first put mine together. After reaching out to Gibbous it turns out that's just how it goes. What I was recommended to do was place the bucket on my head and use the palm of my hand to push them in to get that "click" and push from where the bend in the wire is.

@nicholascorbin2647 that was from Gibbous. Something to be mindful of is make sure your otto mounts have that screw in the middle tightened down. When I first got mine they were not tight and the ears were kinda floppy.

as someone who has both and just swapped to the noizebarrier setup im curious if its just me but the seal/pressure applied through the mounts seems like a lot less, it may be me just swapping to a new system or what, i guess my question is, is it enough applies pressure to create a seal, at least compared to the amp setup

the thing i hated was that the axl adaptors cup one of the mics so one side seems to be alot lower in volume with the gibbous outfitters hows the audio quality? Edit: After receiving them and adjusting them. I have to admit they are amazing just like he says. The only problem is the amount of time it took for shipping.

So honestly with the NFMI the Opscore are king. That being said I haven't messed with the Comtac VIs so I can't speak on those.
