They've got 3 guys in the rotation now that when they walk out to the mound, the offense knows if they're at least "average", they've got a good shot at winning. Just a game back of a Wild Card spot. If they were to play a WC series, having Skenes and Jones back-to-back would be a huge advantage.

Luciano error was tough to watch. That was beginning of the end for the Giants.

I've always thought pitcher's wearing helmets sounds and looks ridiculous but one of those Cruz Missiles hits you in the head area and that's a scary thought. Geez of man those were literal rockets

Was Rowdy Tellez on the bench today? Or is it a minor league?

There were 2 possible double play balls in this clip where the pirates player who got out at second blocked the throwing path of the Giants who then didn't throw. The giants should have thrown and hit the runner causing an automatic out at first for runners interference. One of them was in the bottom of the ninth and they would have won the game if they did that. Of course throwing to first to hit the player running to second for an interference call is a bit dirty, but so is staying upright in the throwing lane instead of sliding or moving out of the path.

No they shouldn't. a base runner shouldn't have to give way to a 2nd baseman if they are running in the run path. It's not like the base runner is throwing his arms all over the place trying to cause a disruption. If a base runner is running towards second in the run path as normal, then it's the second basemen, that has to find a way to throw around him to get to the first basemen. This whole notion that base runners should just basically stop running and duck while they are in their run path is dumb. These are MLB players we are talking about here. You better be able to throw a ball accurately without it having to be in a straight line at this level.
