Most people don’t remember that bumgarner started his postseason numbers off horribly. I remember watching this game with my dad and seeing bumgarners numbers and thinking Detroit is gonna tie up the series tonight Then the legend of postseason bumgarner was born and boy was I wrong.

@Row Murray thank you for the kind words, the rally against Houston down by 4 in the 8th was epic and Gorods Homer in the ninith, I still have a bumb on the head, they were a little young in 14, but if the 14 Giants played the 15 Royals it would be an all time classic.

Throughout 2010-2016, Bumgarner was mortal in NLDS and NLCS, but Super Saiyan in all Wild Card games and World Series. Go figure.

I still cannot believe how close Doug Fister came to tragedy.

Bases loaded no outs in the 7th and they're playing back, baffling that Detroit would concede the winning run that late in the game to get a double play. They didn't even bother setting up for a play at the plate. With the way they were hitting, Leyland was THAT sure he'd get at least 1 run before 6 outs?
