That is NOT Redwood. Redwood is only found on the West coast of North America. These logs are from giant conifers. The wood will be sold as "Rosewood".

I get very nervous when I see Asians (or anybody else) cutting down old-growth timber. Once they have destroyed their old-growth forests what are they going to replace them with. I'd be very interested to know what kind of timber is being cut up here.
