I love that you can actually sit on it without just sinking all the way through. Are they expensive to produce? I assume it's a custom order and probably wouldn't do well in water

I custom ordered a larger version of this product: www.latexcatfish.com/inflatable-pets?product_id=1614 It is chlorinated, so the water wouldn't harm it, but I imagine it would be very difficult to balance on and it might try to fold in half around you if you tried to ride it on the water.

If only a 24” Q24 with a long neck clone could be made with 1.2mm latex, damn thing would be indestructible lol.

The tail swelling as you bounce on it is silly.

The valve on this inflatable whale is also made of rubber just like the rest of the toy. I would not expect it to cause any damage.

With this being made out of latex, how durable is it? Like dose it run the risk of popping like a normal balloon or is this latex pretty thick. Just a random thought i had when watching. It’s pretty awesome and the sounds it makes are so cool!

With the latex being 1.2mm thick, I’d assume it’s really, really damn strong, even compared to a vinyl orca.

This whale feels a lot like a balloon inflated right up to when the latex just starts to stretch. If you have ever tried to pop a balloon that under inflated you'll have an idea of how ridiculously sturdy this whale is. It just stretches. I just have to watch out for sharp objects. Hence the tarp in the video.

This tail actually looks like a weak spot, doesnt it stretch too much after few rides?

Inflating this latex whale is a lot like inflating a balloon right up to when the latex just starts to stretch. So even though the tail looks like it is bulging a lot, it is a long long way from stretching as far as latex can stretch.
