Coyotes are a horrible problem to have. We had a dog lured out over a hill in our pasture and there was a pack on the other side. Luckily he escaped them but not without a few wounds. We were able to take care of a couple of them and scared the rest off. I hope you are able to take care of them too before they hurt any of your animals. Have a great day!

That was so awesome how Leeske was telling Kora no Digging. Hes training her well. He had the Lead and she brought up the rear. Youre blessed in LGD Mojo and Leeske are BOSSES! Kora is being trained by the best! So proud of Mojo,Leeske, and Kora! A group of Coyotes is called a Pack, youre exactly right. So Glad Smeagel is safe! @@Thakid510 Each of them are bred to guard & defend their charges. Mojo is a Great Pyrenees. Leeske is an Anatolian Shepherd. And Cora is also a thoroughbred. None of them are junkyard dogs, they'll defend their charges to their last breath. I looked these breeds up on Google & am mightily impressed.

He's a big dog but fast

We had coyotes pretty bad for a while also and they took down a baby calf. We had 4 dogs that ran our land, but we also put 2 donkeys out after that and never had another attack. We'd also shoot the gun when we heard them running near by in the evenings with that awful yapping sound they make. Hope you can get them under control.

I ask cause i like to go hiking deep into the woods, and a few times before when i’ve stopped to sit down for a bit and take a break i’ve realized i’ve actually been trailed and watched by a pack of Coyotes, at first i didnt think much of it but then it came to me that there’s deer around so i’m pretty much this pack can take a deer down and perhaps it’s occurred to them that i look tasty and could possibly take me down but not sure if they actually would do that or i am just thinking too much 🙈

@@CallmeBotakaOrc There are videos online of people being chased and bitten by coyotes. They got real bad in a Frisco, TX neighborhood at one point and had to be culled.

@@coleneritchie5625 I hate coyotes. I’m not one for hunting outside of meat but I go out of my way to hunt coyotes. I’ve lost a dog and a cat to a pack of them. They are pests that don’t belong here as far as i’m concerned.

@@coleneritchie5625 That's why domesticated cats belong inside. That's your fault for being irresponsible. It's not rocket science to keep a cat inside. There is no reason for them to be outdoors. I doubt your vet had a cat outside. Every Vet I know is against having domestic cats outdoors.

​@Abel Amanda it's really ridiculous to expect cats to be happy inside, isn't it. If they like being inside, that's one thing. But, if they are like most normal cats, their instinct makes them want to be out hunting. And, not to belittle a cat's life, but if they are killed by another animal, it is truly the circle of life.

You have the very best dogs, I swear. It says as much about their training as it does about their innate trait to protect. I agree with another commenter Rachel, you look so pretty in this video and also reminded us once again too, how good a mama you are!

Leeske really is a true protector. Allowing an injured duck to stay by him is exceptional. He knows what animals belong on the farm and that's all he cares about. If an animal isn't introduced to him by you or Rachel, then it doesn't belong there. Mojo is so flipping amazing. He looks like he'd just be a big lump but the fact that he takes off like that, can clear a fence and all the rest... amazing and definitely due for a few extra eggs. All the pups are! Kora staying back may be because Leeske told her to, lol, or it could just be that she knows someone's gotta stay with the animals. Knowing she's the lil one, she's best suited to be an alarm for them while the big boy looks after the predator. I do have to say, Rachel you looked absolutely beautiful in today's video. You always are beautiful, but there was just something about you today that made you sparkle. I love your farm, your animals, your videos and most of all, I just love you guys! Heather🇨🇦

Coyotes are most aggressive right now because Moms had the pups. Mom needs food and Dad goes out to get it. Well done Leeske! It was awesome to see good old Mojo wake from his old man nap and take off like a bat out of you know what.

I love how you protect what's yours. If this city girl saw a coyote that close to my front porch For Sell Signs would probably be on the property the next day if I wasn't talked off the ledge.

Goodness, those coyotes are very brazen, coming that close to the house in broad daylight. Leeske is really stepping up, very brave, especially when it seemed to be many coyotes. Mojo was onto it the next day as well. Interesting seeing the goats wait for the all clear from Leeske before heading out to the pasture. It will be good when Kora gets a bit older & bigger. You’ve got to protect your livestock Kevin, do whatever you need to mate. So glad everyone is ok😊 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

Go over to raven tree ranch theyve a cat called recon cat Luna, she’s the absolute boss of all them dogs they all bow to her and she does the recon from the holes the rug for her and up her trees. She is an incredible cat such a clever cat they’ve 3 LGDs and 3 border collies and luna the recon cat they don’t have such a military set up it’s insane. Must watch if you love LGDs they are lily Judge and Bo x

This is the first video I've seen from this channel and I have to say, y'all seem like really sweet people who care about every single one of your animals. Sometimes farm life can cause people to detatch from the animals and, while I can understand why, it always breaks my heart when I see somebody who thinks ONLY of the monetary value of an animals. You're good people.

Ya'll be safe , I have seen the news about people in Oklahoma being attacked by packs of dogs here recently and 1 woman killed. Don't know if thats in your area, but Kevin is right the will try to lure your dogs away and kill them as well. As always love watch'in. God Bless...!!!

Love Livestock Guardian Dogs! My Maremma once protected an injured squirrel... I believe they protect any animal that is not a predator so the duck must have felt so much better with the dogs. Love your videos. That wonderful herd looks so great walking out into the enormous field.

Cora's getting so big! Leesky is smart trying to stop Cora from digging out he kept stopping her and she doesn't like it!🤭 Love all the dogs and animals! Same problem here with coyotes getting way too close. Not sure if it is legal in your state but here we have hunters who use a call box to bring them in to eliminate them. Glad all is well, great job the dogs have done. Coyote's have been known to attack people too

Great guard dogs! I was raised in the country and coyotes were a problem. When the hunt in packs they yep a lot. When they get quite is When you worry.

Kevin you should think about getting a high viz collar or vest for Leesky and Cora when she's older. That way you'll be able to spot them quicker with your flashlight. BTW I love your flashlight, it illuminates quite a large area.
