SCIENCE TIME: The noise on the bath is glass breaking. The enamel on the bath, the white coating, is vitreous enamel. a fine glass powder that is baked on to the metal bath tub at around 800 °C. The fizzing, crackling noise is stress fractures propagating through the enamel at the metal bath slowly relaxes after the impact stress. When you bend metal it will bend beyond it's final shape as it is slightly elastic when bent. It also generates heat at the metal atoms are forced past each other so quickly on the outside of the bend and squashed together on the internal apex of the bend. Once the moment of force has passed the metal will spring back a little way. The metal will also start to slowly cool. Cooling metal shrinks slowly. So the tiny cracks in the glass enamel are now experiencing pressure as the metal cools and deforms a little more. This is enough to pop fragments of glass off the bath. The little 'flecks of paint' mentioned by the boys are needle sharp fragments of glass, which is why they hurt. If you try this at home, wear eye protection and breathing protection. Thick gloves and long sleeves. Better still, don't try this a home. hundreds of tiny cuts to your eyeballs and lungs are quite bad for you and also getting the planning permits for a 45 metre steel tower in your back yard is a tad tricky.

The bathtub paint was bubbling because of the amount of pressure and friction put on the tub as it hit the blade, when there's so much friction, the objects heat up due to the pressure, that's why the paint was sizzling. It was being fried by the pressure.

11:38 "What is that noise?" That bathtub was coated with a porcelain coating below the paint. What you hear is the porcelain cracking much like you would with coated safety glass. And, yes, it does sound like Pop Rocks. LOL

Ceramic coating on the bathtub slowly breaks apart after deformation. The crackling you’re hearing is the ceramic coating relieving stress by shattering slowly as the stresses spread

The crackling noise was the ceramic coating splintering. That stuff will fly off at high speeds lol. I only know this because I busted up an old tub once and ended up with bloody shins from the shards.

I love how, once Rexy is injured, the video COMPLETELY shifts gears for a good five minutes to address it. That entire BIR was hilarious, but also really cool to see Rexy get stitched up. 100% agreed. My heart dropped when I saw the blurred out Rexy in half, and then the one-piece line caused me to spit out my water. Dark humor pulled off really well 😂

I'm french, and I believe it's a good revisit of the tool we used a while ago to "take care" of our politics :-). Nowadays, this would make a very impressive and satisfying show for an angry crowd! :D

I love all the stunts, but your first aid and efforts to save Rexy was the BEST!!! Props to the surgeon that saved his life! Excellent stiches.🦖😎 Also the bath tub is coated in porcelain ceramic. The deformation of the metal tub caused extreme stress fracturing of the ceramic.

@@puggyboi672 dropping a boat on a trampoline for the most part it’s going to bounce but it’s not gonna go super far with a seesaw you really don’t know where it’s going to go or who you have the possibility of hitting end so that’s why I say it could be an insurance or civil liability nightmare.

If that happened here in the states they would just think it's another millennial doing LSD...

Capsicum is a chemical compound found in the flesh and seeds of the pepper. Just as aussies find it weird that the rest of the world call them peppers, the rest of the world finds it weird that aussies call it capsicum. Sort of like saying "want a cup of caffeine?" instead of saying coffee, or "let's add some cishexenol" instead of pumpkin.
