Giant Antique Extravaganza in Florida! | My Vintage Finds & Dealer Space

Come shop with me and see my space at Renninger's Antique Extravaganza in Mount Dora, Florida! I joined over 1000 other dealers and brought a van full of antiques and vintage goods. It's so big that just showing my "neighborhood" of the show took all of part 1!
Just in my little area, we'll see a bunch of great stuff, including tons of vintage Christmas, nautical items, lunchboxes, advertising signs, Blenko modernist glass, even a giant clam shell! This huge antique show and attached flea market brings shoppers and tourists from all over Florida, and sellers from around the world…stained glass from England, real French Provincial furniture and more.
I hope my walk around will help you learn more about antique and vintage items I find, sharing our passion and this community and helping each other with our antique education. Items I brought include Fenton, Metlox Poppytrail dinnerware, Native American baskets (including a Paiute cradle board), dolls, Murano glass, ephemera, costume jewelry, boudoir items, etc. We’ll see spaces filled with ships lanterns, toys, stamp machines, architectural salvage, antique wicker, Christmas trees and blow molds, floats and buoys, aluminum kitchenware and Venetian glass. Highlights include a 1910s balance scale, enamel store signs, modernist stools, even a folk art popsicle stick lamp!

I adore that old lightning rod with the blue ball. If I had been there, I would have had to consider buying it. It's just really neat & I have never seen anything like it. And at 10:49, I agree that that white chair was stylishly cool. ** Heavy Sigh **

The ceramic trees are still made. I made a few back in 2003 and 2004 myself in an evening ceramics class. One of the trees I made, I did in a pearly pink, much to the dismay of classmates.

My mother had that aluminum canister set. I found one with copper lids on ebay that were new old stock and snatched them up a few years ago. I really love them. They bring back so many memories. My mother never drank tea, so she kept popcorn seeds in the tea canister. She loved popcorn. lol

I love popcorn too, great idea! Most Americans don't keep a lot of loose tea, but the Canadian market did. I always liked those sets too

A lot of really interesting items there. One thing that caught my attention was all the old furniture keys you had there. I'd have likely walked away with a bag full of those. For some reason, I really like those. My furniture has the locks in them, and I have the keys to fit them all. Didn't see a jot of Carnival Glass, though :-( Really enjoying the videos!

Thank you! I like them too, it's helpful to people who've lost theirs over the years. I'm not sure if there's carnival glass in part 2, but there's some amazing stained glass to come!

@@TheAntiqueNomad I'll definitely be on the watch for Part 2. I had a stained glass Budweiser lamp, until just a few months ago. I sold it for a nice sum. It had the gilded bronze surround, with the Anheuser Busch eagle and "Budweiser" in the metal work, along with "tassels" of flowers, with red stained glass panels. I found it at a thrift store, for $25.00, so I made a sound $425.00, when I sold it :-) It was just one of those items I needed to sell, when Mother and I had to combine households, after Dad died. As for those keys - I just really like them. A collection of them would be something I'd definitely be interested in. Nowhere to put it though... :-( I think they'd look great in a frame.

@@TheAntiqueNomad From what I can gather, the stained glass Bud table lamps aren't easy to come by. I think they were probably issued for use in bars, but not sure about that. If I had've had somewhere to put it, I'd have likely kept it. At $25.00, I could've afforded to have kept it. Those old furniture keys are fascinating. I don't know why I like them so much, but I do.

I keep things for my home still, but I've collected a long time so it has to really be a needed addition to my collection or functional for me to keep it...I love that I get to indulge my penchant for this by buying for resale to other collectors
