GIANT 1% Strides, Climbing BASTARD Hills and… Wine Dogs(?!) with Mel Chester of Giant Steps Wines

Halliday Winemaker of the Year nominee Mel Chester of Giant Steps is in the house this week showing off some new wines and talking Opera House gigs, ludicrously steep Bastard vineyards, and Mel FINALLY making it into the Wine Dogs calendar. Plus some very legit stuff about the great wines of the Yarra Valley, bringing Cabernet back, the first Single Vineyard Syrah from Tarraford vineyard in a few years and much more.
Mel is one of the sharpest, most intuitive winemakers in the country, ask anyone. But she's also a huge #swifty and just a very excellent human. It was such a pleasure to have her in the studio and if you haven't tasted her excellent Giant Steps releases over the last few years, well, do you even wine?
