Not by me. That was one of the greatest individual performances in a professional basketball game. Not just NBA, but in ALL pro basketball leagues around the world. Giannis delivered on a stage where most stars crumble. He knew he had to pull off a big night, and he did. Giannis was adamant on winning in the same city that drafted him WITHOUT leaving, and he did. Giannis knew that if he wanted to cement his legacy, he needed to shine, and he did.

Giannis is the "but better" version of Shaq. Even O'neal admitts Giannis is better than he was at basketball. Imagine if Shaq had stayed under 300 lbs, been in good shape, shot a mid range jumper, and made his free throws. Oh wait! You don't have to! It's Giannis!!!!!

Dude fell off a cliff in terms of production, never got any better, and suffered injury after injury in his later years. Kobe meanwhile had a couple more titles in LA. Wade carried Shaq in 06. Shaq was a shell of his former self by then and even in his prime needed a closer like Kobe because he was a liability in close games.

I'm so happy for Giannis. He didn't run from the grind. Didn't stack the deck and go elsewhere to create a super team. He stayed put and delivered a Chip. Respect

Hover around the paint as the ball swings around the perimeter, lull the defender to sleep, slip in front of him and bully the guy 3 feet from the basket, get the ball and spin to dunk. Defective playmaker, he forced the pass just like he forced his own shots, basically a early version of what WestBrook turned out to be some seasons later, Kobe in 2012 had the highest usage percentage in NBA history, always forcing the issue and playing heavy minutes for no reason. His shot selection was dubious to say the least, usually going against multiple defenders instead of creating a high quality shot like Jordan used to make, because of that Kobe had the worst ever performance in a finals game 7. And I am a Lakers fan by the way, I know the good and negative sides of Kobe very well, at first I considered him the best, but after maturing as a fan and seeing how Duncan showed class and professionalism his whole career, defeated the best defense in modern basketball in a 7 games series (almost had a quadruple double against the prime Pistons coached by Larry Brown, that's highly impressive), then much later his team inflicted the worst beatdown in finals history against the "reunion" of LeBron, every Spurs victory was a blowout. And as talent goes he was just as dominant as Kobe playing in the golden age of PFs... for me Duncan is the best player ever since Jordan, no question about it, his career was basically perfect

Year 2022, and I'm here after watching Rise, seeing how far Giannis has reached, it makes me appreciate him even more especially with everything he has been through. One of the best journeys in the NBA. He deserves all the things he has now. God and family comes first, and the rest follows. Like what Giannis said, you just have to do your part, and that's exactly what he did. So proud and this is very inspirational. #RISE 🇬🇷

So why is Giannis better than Jordan all time?‼️ -too strong to have a gambling addiction -too responsible to take care of his hair instead of taking the bald easy way out. -didn’t need another hof and the greatest coach of all time to save him from the first round -isn’t a glorified Khris Middleton -didn’t need to take multi year retirement breaks -doesn’t complain or square up with the refs after every play -won his ring against real ballers. Not plumbers, skid row residents, and part time gas station workers -won his ring at 26. Years before Jordan ever did. -humble af. Doesn’t try to be superior to everyone -doesn’t take every single little thing personally like a brat -came up from the slums of Greece. Wasn’t carried by a middle class family like Jordan.
