    I was inspired by this, so I finally bought a "broken" MOBAT, opened it up, realized it just had a loose screw that had somehow made its way into the gearbox, took that out, and voila-- I have a working MOBAT. Don't know how to 3D print though, so not sure how to learn. :-)

    Upgrades? I see replacement parts being made, but what is upgraded? What's better than before?

  • @ActionRobotPunch

    @ActionRobotPunch

    3 жыл бұрын

    To me the whole thing is an upgrade from the way it was when I bought it. But specifically the battery contacts are much better quality now. While swapping out the contacts I also replaced the really thin gauge wire. This should help mitigate the corrosion problems that plague many of the Maulers I’ve seen. Also the mudguards and antennae have a bit more detail because of the 3D printing. If you want to see a more extreme upgrade check out my video where I make an RC version of the Mauler. I replace the entire drive train, install dual motors, install a gunners hatch in the turret, and make the whole thing radio controlled. Thanks for watching!
