    for space saving sake , its better to make them smaller like GI Joe did in the 80's with their vehicles. In head canon it should just be easy to think those factions had someone make their own versions of those tanks, maybe better technology so the tanks dont need to be so big etc . If someone wants the actual real life like versions, let them get model kits because even if Haslab makes these next year, its not going to be real life versions of the tanks anyways.

    The ramen tanks are fantastic. I want the black and the green one. I might even get the desert tan one. I feel I would have to add some stuff to it to give it more personality, my own decos, etc. But that is the best tank vehicle at this scale that they have ever made. And I have the HISS tank and while I like it and I am always hoping more for a more realistic battle tank and am praying for a modern reimagining of the mobat or mauler.

    My biggest problem is what's it going to cost. I get that you get all those turrets but the tank itself is going to be a shell and probably not do much else and it's probably going to be $200. Plus it's going to eat up a lot of real estate. There's a reason why Hasbro doesn't do vehicles this large that are just big chunks of plastic that sit on a shelf.

    I think the real world equivalent for the Ramen Hunter tank is the US Army's new M10 Booker light tank. One segment that is badly under served in the whole Gi Joe verse is a legit Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) like a Bradley or CV90. The Classified HISS is more of an IFV than an actual tank - has a light cannon and troop carrier. I know ARAH had the APC, but that thing is far from an actual IFV.

  • @ActionRobotPunch

    @ActionRobotPunch

    4 күн бұрын

    I'd love the see a real IFV type vehicle. For me the Warthog was kind of the answer to that. It could hold 9 Joes I think? And it was armored and had missiles and was amphibious. Something like the German Boxer would be a great addition to the toy line. Especially if they sold different modules, like in the real vehicle, so you could swap out turrets, command hq, recovery, etc. An 8x8 would also just look cool and harken back to the APC. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

  • @ActionRobotPunch

    @ActionRobotPunch

    29 күн бұрын

    I just checked that out and you're right. A really cool piece, and it's motorized. But it looks like it's at least $300+? I have an RC Tiger in 1/16 and that's really big so I can imagine how big the 1/12 must be in person. It looks like they also have the early war panzers like the aus D that are much smaller. That's the thing to me about scale, if you want a tiger it'll be much bigger than an early panzer. But Ramen Tank, the Mobat and Wolverine aren't real vehicles so you can't really say how big or small they have to really be. But then it does become subjective and I totally get wanting a larger tiger/abrams scaled vehicle. Thanks for informing me about these toys. I've never watched the anime Girls und Panzer but I'd see ads for the figures. It's cool that they made vehicles for them. Thanks for the great comment.

I d like 2 pro scaled olive green hummers and an Abram, full size, rc? ok... even if I never make movies with my figs - dios, I want to be able to do it be set for it, as collector, it s cool to see these pieces as deco in my place I keep many in box, and rotate the pieces weekly or about it keeps the deco - action fresh and funny, as I got civilians to get a cartoon - movie look only 2 bikes as of now, ram and baroness s bike and only one dio with street to use them but.... street extensions are not difficult to build we want these for dif reasons in dif conditions, it ll be interesting to see the variations here, ha, ha ah man, what you do is amazing!!! so now you know... good show bro

I don't have many 80s joes and the prices of vintage has made that collection kind of out of reach for now but the 6 inch stuff isn't really fun to me since the figures don't really do much the smaller ones couldn't and they have so little to interact with. I see why Hasbro is so upset about this reveal. This may throw a Monkeywrench (pun intended) into their future plans. Hasbro will also feel the pressure to produce similar tanks with the same price point. But having 3 tanks in one for less than the price of one Haslab for one version (MOBAT, Wolverine, Bridge layer) is genius. If Hasbro produced these tanks it would take 3 Haslabs and 3 years. Instead Ramen gives it to you in one shot.

    Scale-down of Joe vehicles is/was always assinine. Looks stupid, and waste of time and work, for kiddie cars, in which, all figures look overgrown in all vehicles.

    The smaller scale makes a lot of sense when considering cost, shipping, storage, display, and playability. If you really want accurate scale, then model kits are probably the way to go. I bought a huey 1/18 scale and it's pretty great and not too big, but does make a dragonfly look small.

    @@ActionRobotPunch I appreciate both the candor and the practical mechanical value of your anitcipated, and well executed reply. I very much accept your reply, and the discourse itself. I believe I am a bit of an absolutist at certain crucial moments in thought. Amazing what effects even minute scale differences can have in a project or object.

    If it’s not released by Hasbro it’s a knock off.

    The tank isn't a knock off because it in no way resembles any of the Gi Joe toys. Maybe the Abrams X manufacturer could argue it's their design? The Wolverine and Bridgelayer do resemble the Gi Joe toys in many ways so you might be right there? And that Skyhawk 1:12 looks just like the Habro toy from the 80s. Thanks for watching.
