The more figures we get with boot knives, the more I kind of wish it was implemented into the actual boot, a la He-Man. I'm all for holsters, sheaths and straps, but I don't think a lot of people are strapping knives to their boots in that way. - I'm dangerously close to just finding things to complain about, after we've been spoiled with the best of what Hasbro has to offer for so long.

Ha! Yeah, as time goes on the smaller things stand out more and more. Like Big Boa's pins, or the repeated PIA approach to the straps n'all that. I'm still waiting for more colour on the backpacks as standard LOL

Chris, another terrific in-depth review. I never connected to Duke as a kid. But this is a great looking figure and happy to have him in my collection. Keep the videos coming

In a weird way its been a blessing in disguise - its made me realise that I'm maybe spending too long on the unboxing section of the vids! :)

Excellent video and review Chris. I’m not a big fan of Duke, but this figure is just right for kit bashing. I’ve changed the headsculpt and the helmet, removed the cross belt, added a new flak jacket and weapons. I now have a different squad leader. 19:12

I appreciate the review, Chris. My retro Duke is supposed to arrive today. This was one of those core characters from the cartoon that I wanted to get, but had to settle for the Tiger Force version. Your review definitely confirms my decision to pick him up! As an aside, your Quick Kick review also pushed me over the edge, and he's supposed to arrive today as well. I'll be honest, I probably watched your QK review three times trying to decide because I've been more selective with which figures I pick up (budget and space constraints.)

That's okay past Chris doesn't need audio he pretty much told the whole story with his hand movements.

Solid review Chris! I like the retro Duke but don’t love him. Something about his is a pinch off. Maybe the face leans more animated vs real… pale shirt & skin blend a bit much….. or maybe I’m just used to classified v1 too much! 🤷🏼‍♂️ Great stuff though! Looking forward to the next one! Cheers!

I could def see how someone could interpret this fig as having a more "animated" vibe to it for sure. I actually failed to mention it in the review but it was something I observed - it's even in my notes but I missed it when recording LOL! Choice is good though, and this just means there's a Duke out there for both of us!
