With the Mtar-X, I use it with silencer and grip. It is an absolute beast and I actually prefer the iron sights over acog. If you like that too, try this class out: -No secondaries -No lethals/tacticals Attachments: -Silencer -Foregrip Perks: -Ready Up -Sleight of Hand -Agility -Marathon -Scavenger -Focus (Hope this helped!)

The SC is my favorite assault rifle.. After I have played for three hours straight. By that I mean that because of its tight iron sights and fast fire rate, it can be one of the more difficult guns to use. I have some of my best games with the SC after I'm warmed up, but if I use it after not playing for a week, I can't do anything with it. Whereas I can pick up the honey badger any time and do fine.

I agree with you, I love the SC. Red dot and silencer are what I use, and it is a beast.

I don't even have ghost and I still watch your COD ghost in-depth. I love your videos.

I think I'm the only person who likes the iron sights of the mtarx. That green pin in the middle is percise af. But a red dot sight is preferable in most cases.

Once you learn the sight, its so precise. In the right hands, its unstoppable. Although, since the recent buff of the Vector, it lost some of its melting power.

Calvin Huynh Same with me. The RDS seems to hinder my performance with the MTAR. After the second day the game came out I was used to the MTAR sights and never have ran an RDS on it other than to test it out a couple times since. The iron sights work great for me. Only other guns iron sights I like really are the Honey Badgers, AK-12's and Bizons. I guess the ARX are pretty much the same as Honey Badgers but I don't like the ARX and haven't since the game launched. In pubs I use the AK/Honey Badger/R5 and MTAR/Vector. Sometimes I use the SA-805 as I do well with it and its a fun change of pace in pubs. When playing with eSports rules I play OBJ and run MTAR/Vector only depending on the map and I run the bomb in SnD. Octane and Warhawk are the main maps I use the MTAR on. The other maps I mostly run with the Vector and sometimes the MTAR on Sovereign depending what my team mates are using.

Hey Drift0r , your next episode should be on whether or not the female character has any advantages. It seems like its harder to shoot because its thinner. I'm curious because many pros use the female character.

They do have an advantage. It's harder to see them laying on the ground when you take a corner while running. ( Hence the smaller model ). For real advantage I suggest a Ghillie Suit but if you use it you are a noob on my list.

Nice vid, I especially liked how you included guns from a range of different categories. Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of people use that LMG with the thermal attachment.

I'm happy the M-27's lazerbeamyness managed to transfer over from BO2. That weapon did so much work for me.

Good job! That was a very professionally made episode of In-Depth, although I don't agree with the M-27 being on the list.

***** You are thinking about somebody else. Pros use the best guns possible. Most OP stuff is banned from competition. Also, the R5 is good without being OP. Other guns can kill it. It shoots slow, has a small mag, awful at long ranges ect ect. An OP gun would be on that just dominates everything.

I love the mtar iron sights! I didn't at first but once you get used to it them they are just fine :)

My favorite 5 no order: Honey Badger Remington R5 ARX-160 MSBS(yes post patch as well lol) AMELI

The best weapon? my cock - it reloads fast, and sprays wide and fast, albeit extremely precise when needed. It's also a veteran of numerous hairy engagements so it's seen its share of scary action. However, I have to agree that Remington and M-TarX are pretty darn good too.

I used to play this alot a few years ago and my disc broke but now I'm buying a new one and imma have a lot of fun

It's something to get used to. But it is horrendous.

Where is the vector?

Before I clicked on this video, I guessed your top 3 guns exactly xD numbers 4 and 5 were just out of the blue though lol. Not gonna lie though, I prefer the Honey Badger over the R5 just because it's fire rate is slightly faster, intergrated silencer helps on objective gametypes for staying alive. It does have more kick than that of the R5 but running grip will decrease it. For me, Honey Badger would be 2 and R5 would be 3.

Why is grip even needed on the Honey Badger for experienced players? Assuming you're experienced. Honestly, after BO2, I have noticed no accuracy increase for the grip. Maybe it's because I control the recoil on every gun I use very well, and don't need the grip. Honey Badger runs really well (if you're good) with Red Dot and Extended Magazines. Very good with Dog/IMS, Sentry and the Battle Hind.

oRLsx317o Thing is I don't notice a difference. Don't get me wrong, I use Ext. Mags and Grip on it sometimes, but it just doesn't seem to work as well for me as it does with others. Aside from the subject, I don't even use the Honey Badger much anymore. I swapped it out for the more "tryhard" weapons because I enjoy using those more. I'll give the Ext. Mags+Grip combo on the H.B. again. but I doubt I'll notice much of a difference. Black Ops 2 and its grip probably etched into my head that grip isn't necessary, which likely fudged me over on that respect.

Honey badger with foregrip has like no recoil, integrated silencer, good iron sights. Really pretty good

MTAR X with a rapid fire and a foregrip is my favorite mix up! Its great at close-range fights

Great top 5. I agree with it completly. Although I think that the mtar has a really good iron sight, you just have to get used to it.

The MTAR-X was my first weapon. I spent a while looking at the stats of the weapons and eventually settled on that.

My nº1 is the Vector, that thing just melts people.

i don't play ghosts anymore, but one of the best guns when i played it was the ameli with rapid fire , grip, stalker, and quickdraw. 2 shots and rapid fire made it insane in close range, and it's centersepeed made it good at long range.

Because it doesn't dominate every single aspect of the game. It is a good well-rounded gun, but the iron sights kind of force you to use an attachment slot to correct them. There are guns better than the MTAR at extreme close and long ranges, but the reason so many people use it is because it is good in all situations. Not the best, but damn good. The best example I can give of this in another game is the M16A3 from BF3.

Pretty sure we didn't need a top 5 list of best guns in the game. Just look at what everyone else uses, pretty much is just five or six guns overall. Instead of doing guns that we already see 95% of the community using, someone really needs to point out guns that nobody uses. Such as the Vepr, Arx, Tac-12, etc.

LATRONNIK It's damage profile is just too low compared to most other guns you'll come up against. It's pros are mainly just how fast it is, but once you get to medium ranges and further it's downright awful...

You are mistaken on many accounts. The Elgato I'm giving away is brand new, in the box, and ships straight from the factory. 60fps KZread is months away. Also, the Elgato can do 720p 60fps which is what Ghosts runs at. No card that I know of can reliably do 1080p 60fps. Even when KZread allows for 60fps, I will probably still upload in 30fps.

M27 is a camp gun

If you want to go for feeds I suggest the mtar x with a muzzle break, extended mags, and red dot with quickdraw. and use this on strike zone 24/7

Chainsaw was a great honorable mention. You can map people with that gun on stonehaven if you use steady aim. Reason being is it's 4 shot kill minimum damage. Never takes more than 4 bullets. Crazy, right? Slap rapid fire on, use steady aim, and you can get quick kills at any range.

I personally love the Mtar-X iron sights i only need to use 3 attachments for it, 1. Foregrip and 2/3. Muzzle Brake or Silencer depending on the situation although its usually the Muzzle Brake

I've kinda stopped playing ghosts, after a week of it coming out lol. But great list! I love watching competitive gameplay!

Good video Driftor. I will have to try the USR now. Also were these tests done on a 360 or xbox1? I was told the USR is better on 360 and the L115 is better on Xbox1, any truth to that?

I like using the lynx as a primary with a zoom scope for long range guys that are behind glass or something, and then as my secondary i have a silenced USR hidden sniping at closer range so i dont have to get spotted and move from my position, I like a defensive roll for taking out other snipers or taking over buildings for my team, i never go in the open like most people, i have 2 sniper classes.

My fav is the Remington R5. Precise, high damage, low recoil and quick reload time. Though I don't like the 24 round mag, it's easily fixed with extended mags. Fav secondary is the M9A1 pistol that deals more damage than the P226 and reloads faster. A lot faster. I also like the illuminated iron sights that I think are easier to use

I would like for the mr-28 to be on here, but overall, excellent job man. :D

Can you do a episode on ttk for all the weapons? Say at 30m, standing still to make it even, are there any huge differences?

The Vector will kill just as fast or faster in every gun fight with in the range that you should reasonably be using them in. The MTAR will kill faster at long range but you should not be engaging long range targets unless they have their backs to you.

I only use the MTAR X exclusively during Clan Wars, because of all the Clans competing and the major competition. That gun has gotten me and my Clan 11 undefeated wins, it's a monster and in the right hands it's pretty much unstoppable.

Got it, if I make a hand gun only class I’ll use the p226. What’s funny is I used the double gun attachment for the p226 and it was op.

I feel different about the M-TAR's iron sights. Back when I didn't like any iron sights, and I ran a red dot on every gun, this was the gun i didn't run it in. Now I go iron sights except for when I use the R5. (Rarely)
