I bought the same ones I used an X-Acto knife and a pair of tweezers to remove the lettering on mine

Steam it! I just got a pair of the Cannon pads, and after picking off a couple letters of the logo with a razor blade I tried hitting it with a steam cleaner (e.g., Bissell SteamShot, PurSteam, etc.). The letters literally just fell off. Much easier and faster way to go.

Great idea, I'll have to use steam next time.

I bought some blue tru-play volleyball pads as the base for mine. A lot of gray primer, man..a lot. I had a scrap of black fabric to cut out the squares for the pads and used e6000 to glue them in place. I used the glue the hold the folded ends in..but so much on and off pulled them apart. The are creased and trained to stay folded though, so they still look fine. I just received some white pads from strictly stability today. I’m going to use rit for synthetics this time and see how they turn out. Hope you’re having fun busting. Go join a local club if there’s one in your area..it’s fun.

Thanks, I'll look into a local club. In college I knew a guy who had made his own Ecto, got a hold of the same ambulance/hearse. Came out crazy good. I wonder if he still has it.

Why not just use the same fabric you already sewed in and sew a square on top? No hole, less work.

You could do that too. Thanks for the suggestion.
