This game was all I played back when I was like 6 or 7. I have nothing but fond memories whenever I think back to it. I remember beating it for the first time, too. nothing could match that level of happiness.

I really don't think I would Call this game underrated, But this game is still Fun and enjoyable though, I'm am So very glad that I bought this game on my Nintendo Switch ☺️

I wonder if Gozer still recognized the Ghostbusters when he saw them. Ever since I had first played the video game, I had also often wondered this... Could the super slammer muon trap on top of the Ecto-1 and the ecto containment unit at the Ghostbusters' firehouse HQ (headquarters) really be strong enough to contain a powerful god such as Gozer the Gozerian?

Under normal circumstances, doubt it. However in the game, Gozer's second return was incomplete and it was much weaker than it was in the movie. Stay Puff was looking for a person that it could use to reach its full power. So in its weakened state, it might have worked.

@@PM-James Well, get this, of the recent film "Ghostbusters: Afterlife", Peter, Ray and Winston were able to actually trap Gozer and it's minions, with the help of Egon's daughter Callie, his grandkids Trevor and Phoebe and their friends Lucky and Podcast as well as Egon materializing as a ghost himself.

This IS Ghostbusters 3, it's literally Dan Akroyd's script for the third film turned into a video game and THE BEST Ghostbusters licenced game we'll ever have. He made a script that could be turned into separate movies that didn't need any of the OG Ghostbusters in it. It set up perfectly the idea of other Ghostbusters teams in other cities that could've continued the IP in actual good directions, unlike the reboot. I always thought the new Ghostbusters was going to be an offshoot, a different team in a different city in the Ghostbusters chain, trained to take down ghosts everywhere else. This comment is mostly conjecture from a comment I think Akroyd made when interviewed about the game at some point, but it was a while ago and I don't remember. So take it with a grain of salt, unless someone can find something backing up my claim. But whatever the reason... this game so desperately needs to be ported and enhanced on PS4.

This level always pissed me off. No matter what I did to avoid the Staypuft attacks, I would end up dying and having to restart this bit over again. Not to mention the whole "Don't cross the streams!" part kept making me yell at the damn screen saying "I can't help it! IF you got out of the damn way!"

Boson Darts are super depolarized bursts of extremely volatile, but very effective, boson particles. Basically like burst fire of the standard proton stream.
