I went camping in Mundesley in 1956. The train was a direct link from Chesterfield. I remember having to carry my heavy kit up the hill to the camp site near the water tower. I drove there forty years later and the bell tents were still there. For all I know, they may still be there (newer models of course!)🙃

I love these videos. So interesting to see how clear the railway route still goes (and equally interesting to see when the route disappears). I can't imagine the time that is required to do one of these. Many thanks for all your efforts and Happy New Year from Vancouver!

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words. With the lockdown underway here in the UK I'm finding creating these films a useful coping mechanism/ distraction. I don't suppose you have seen my film on Vancouver have you? kzread.info/dash/bejne/lY2usMujfLDLmcY.html

We just found where the old Mundesley station was this afternoon. Went for a long walk trying to find some evidence of the old lines etc. Sadly, couldn't see anything.

Its pretty sparse at best! I will look into doing the rest of the line through to overstrand and cromer soon. I imagine from a drone one would have a better idea!
