Ghost Train: Barnstaple to Taunton (Lost Devon & Somerset Railway Animation)
Фильм және анимация
A look at the lost Devon & Somerset Railway line linking Barnstaple with Taunton! It was opened in stages between 1871 and 1873 and closed in 1966. It served a mostly rural area although it carried some through services from east of Taunton to the seaside resort of Ilfracombe. From 1988 onwards the route of the line west of South Molton was redeveloped to form the part of the North Devon Link Road.

Fantastic, comparing the old and new maps, great to see the fields and woods have hardly changed in my beautiful home county of Devon
Again an absolutely brilliant train ride into the past.
I am in awe how you produce these. Just brilliant. You have no idea how much pleasure they give.
What a wonderful film. Beautifully crafted and presented. Couldnt take my eyes off it. Thank you so much.

I wondered why I wasn't enjoying this video as much as usual. I realised that I couldn't read the print on the maps. Is it just the premiere going out at 360p, as opposed to the usual 1080p?

Try it in a little while - I think youtube publishes before its finished processing. It is 1080p.
