Kalel311 superman they only want to let raiders in the hall of fame when they die. Just look at Tom Flores. He’s in his 80s and he’s still not in the hall of fame despite leading the raiders to 2 Super Bowl wins as head coach.

@@raiders7449 they seem to.dis a lot of super bowl winning coaches with 2 titles. How in the hell does it take till now for Jimmy Johnson and Flores to even get enshrined in Canton? George Seifert is still waiting. Tom Couglin is currently waiting and both got 2 super bowls also. It makes no sense whatsoever.

It is.........but, as the play progressed the Ghost wound up running a POST-CORNER.🤣🤣 Because the strong side safety was pinching in, Casper altered the beginning of the route. That maneuvering made him late for a post. So the Snake, who saw him NOT running a post, instead threw it to him where he was at that moment, towards the corner. Ghost, who was still trying to run the post, made an unbelievable adjustment, and then his justly famous catch.

The Raiders have been involved in a lot of famous games while Madden was the coach or as an assisant. The Heidi Game to start, The Immacualate Reception, The Sea of Hands game that ended the Dolphins dynasty for about 10 years, then of course this Ghost to the Post game, followed a year later with The Holy Roller game. Everything pretty much went the Raiders way except for the Immaculate Reception. By the end of 1978 Madden retired and entered the next phase of his life where he became an even bigger legend.

This was a roller coaster type of a game. The Raiders were the defending superbowl champions and the Colts came ever so close to beating them. If not for the great over the shoulder catch by Casper, the Raiders would have probably lost the game instead of winning it in overtime.
