Ordered this wrap 3weeks ago. Wrapped my brothers hood with him. What I’ve noticed was to be careful to clean your hand before lifting the wrap from under. As the wrap leaves a metallic glitter on your hand and gets on the adhesive under, and the felt liner on the squeegee gets coated as well. The wrap definitely plays tricks on your eyes for sure.

I used the forged carbon 2020 wrap on my doors and side panels. Easiest wrap to install by far!! Hides any small imperfections on older paint.

I have this on my car and it was so easy to work with I did it on my hood roof and trunk. It's been on there for a year now and corners and everything held up well so far. Definitely turns heads. Just the way it sparkles in the sun.

Wrapping my Yukon in this wrap right now. It's pretty difficult actually compared to some Avery Dennison I've used, but maybe it's because it's a metallic satin as air release and thickness is a bit different. I overheated the wrap in some spots on my tailgate. Slightly more glossy where I heated it up too long. I'm not too experienced though, so I'm sure with more practice I'll figure out a better technique. Curves are tough with this wrap, but it is very durable! Love the look too.

I really enjoy watching your videos. You are very good at what you do. I am going to start wrapping my 2004 WRX this summer and your videos are very helpful and motivating. It would be nice to join your website and read through the forums and all of that, but I do not want to have to pay a fee to do so. I can understand paying for the instructional courses, but just forum access is kind of lame. Keep up the good work!

I gotta go back and watch the video a few more times. I keep getting distracted by that sweet as hell rolling, cutting slice of mobile delight that is holding your vinyl. Apologies for the odd sentence. My brain is trying to reboot.

Fyi for anyone interested, this wrap and other 'ghost metal' wraps are directional. I messed up and rewrapped some panels after noticing this. Bottom end of the 5' roll fades into a 'ghost grey' sooner than the top of the roll, so be consistent and aware of how sections are laid on. Finished wrapping my whole 07 Yukon Denali in this wrap and it's amazing!

Hello CK. I don't remember hearing you say, but when you sand and body work a dent, does the bondo have to be covered or coated with primer or some sort of protectant before wrapping? I've been watching your videos and they are EXTREMELY helpful and I think I want to give it a try.

As long as it's smooth and there's no residue then the film will stick over small Bondo filled areas.

Considering doing my hood in this vinyl, how do you like it after several months?

I just ordered this film to do my Harley Wideglide tank and fenders. I am planning on using 3m edge sealer tape as well, is this a necessary step or just a good practice? Thanks for any tips in advance!

Really helpful video, I am pretty new and was curious do you need to post heat the entirety of the wrapped surface? I notice you did the edges but I was curious is it not needed for the rest? Thanks bud awesome video.

I just got a heat gun and this exact wrap. My heat gun is tempersture adjustable. What temperature should i have it set on? I burnt the wrap first time and by the time i got to the fronf of the hood, there was so many wrinkles it felt like no matter what i did i couldnt get them to go away, crease after crease and trying to stretch it made the creasing worse

I have an A3 and I want to wrap it myself even though I know it will look like trash, but I love DYI projects. Still figuring out how to take off the door handles without breaking stuff inside. my door handles are not like this ones, mine are the like.. semi-circle? if that makes any sense. well it will be fun and expensive to fix it afterwards

Hello sir, I have a situation! I ordered a black stealth micro camel and it had square patterns then I ordered the same thing and it came without the square patterns and appears to have a sparkle firework type of effect, it also has a slight bluish tint. I'm wondering if you know the name of this vinyl wrap that sparkles and has the bluish tint???? I ordered it from Amazon and I contacted vivid and they are telling me that it's black stealth micro camel and I'm positive that's not it.

alright CK wraps, i got a question that only you can answer. my car has the undercoat protection which runs 2ish inches up the side of the car. is there something special you need to do to wrap over that since its a very textured surface? or would i just go at it as per normal
