It might be good to be able have the capability to launch loitering munitions from this for certain scenarios such as defending a beach from attacking amphibious vehicles, small boats, and even larger landing craft. Also a cargo version might be of some use such as that might have been handy in trying to resupply Mariupol before it fell with food, water, medical supplies, and ammo. Sure the payload would be limited but there are times when something is better than nothing.

Also, off shore wind farms or solar farms might be used to recharge their batteries while at sea. The solar panels could shield the sub from being detected when being recharged. That could extend their time on station without having to return to port, given these might be placed near where these might patrol.
