This was one of the best movie tie in games that I've ever played along with Spider-Man 2 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. One of the few games that are actually better than the movie.

the Shotgun blast was the ultimate move combo. truth to be told, when I first played this game as a kid, I had no idea who Ghost Rider was and that he was in the Marvel Universe. But still, loved this game. especially the ragdoll effects if you have an accident when riding the bike. never got old..

Now i know why Dante and Ghost Raider are kinda rivals/partners in MVCI, Hahaha

Think of this, a new ghost rider game that takes place in hell and all of its circles. Everything looks like earth but rundown and overrun by demons and the lost souls walking about. You play ghost rider (obviously) but we’d also have guest playable characters, as he tries to get back to the surface but first he must claim hell as his own. The game would have a dark souls leveling system where you collect demon souls and if you die you lose them and have to recover them. Those souls would be used to level you or your bike up. There’s be sections where you could use your bike but you run risk of bumping into demon bikers with heavy weapons added to their motorcycles. In game you’d be able to pick your weapon aside from the chain or modify your chain to look more unique. Being able to tweak the flame color and shit. You’d also have new gear for ghost rider and his bike. Later on in game you’d earn the ability to use other vehicles and transform those too. New and unique bosses that play like dark souls bosses and also comic book boss levels. The last would be Mephisto and upon defeat you unlock new game plus along with the ghost rider king of hell skin. There could even be an online mode where you create your own personal rider and would be a similar journey. I loved this ps2 game as a kid and ghost rider is my favorite Marvel character and I think he deserves more praise.

Normally I wouldn't comment, and I am not stepping in to defend, but I think Zodiark is refering to the fact that this is a licensed game. IE, A move tie-in, which do tend to come in sub par. It is a fun game and higher quality than the bar would lead us to expect. Example, it's better than Sega's Ironman, Tie-in with the first movie, which, while fun, had all kinds of problems. I personally still had fun with it. I swear body rider riding his motorcycle on water and up an down, the walls is the sickest man!!! I love this guy a lot he has always been my most favorite super heros ever.

I remember getting this for my little bro. I played it and took it back to GameStop thinking it would be too scary for him. now he's all grown up and listening to Black Sabbath I was a fool

...i bet that if they made a new ghost rider game, it will be open-world.

The enemies you find in each area looked very demonic. The bosses are badass as well, and the circus was my favorite part of the game where the whole place looked like the end of the world. Not to mention the soundtrack being so damn hype.. Man this is one of those games I have to play again. I highly recommend playing this.

You have no idea how disappointed I was when I killed that reaper boss in like 4 hits

when i used to play this game i didnt know you could upgrade your skills and i turned out to be too weak later in the game . oh the rage every time i faced monsters with Vengeance bubbles . but now that i know ghost rider can be upgraded this game is one of my favorites. love you ps2

Ghost Rider Is A Badass

Such a good game. I remember making it from Level 7 to beatimg the final boss in one night. Still had fun playing it. It was interesting how they gave Blackout a jetski type vehicle.

I think the fire on his skull actually changes color to match the style meter, so it heats up and turns blueish green to match the style font color. Pretty cool feature

I remember seeing this game in a GameStop, and I wanted it so bad because ghost rider was my favorite thing ever. But I couldn’t get it. My parents swore up and down we would come back and get it, but we never did. Next time we went to that GameStop (for something else, not for my game) I looked just to see if it was still there, and I thought maybe this time I could get it. But it was gone. And I haven’t seen a copy of that game ever since.

Man i wish i knew, looks like a game that i would complete 100% as a kid.

This game was therapeutic as a kid. It had so much fucked and creepy shit. Fighting demon clowns at abandoned carnivals in pitch black while searching for litteral child of darkness was scary as a ten year old, despite the campy elements. I never felt more empowered and badass though when I heard the spirit of vengeance scream “THE INNOCENTS WILL BE AVENGED” And then proceeds to penance stare some sorry ass hellspawn while he begs for mercy. Really helped me get over a lot of my fears at the time.
