Also it opened up a wormhole through which Daredevil was sent into the DC universe, regained his vision and became Batman. There's a part missing from the review that was there before. When Cage is slamming the guy against the wall there's a bit where NC says "Uh Mr Cage. None of this is in the script. I am honestly surprised they didn't realize that. I mean, even if that was meant to be the joke and it wasn't too obvious, or perhaps so obvious they actually didn't believe that could be the joke, I do still wonder why they didn't mention it at all. One thing you forgot to mention was how Blaze was persuaded into retrieving the kid by promising to lift the Rider curse, but he had a chance to get rid of the curse at the end of the first movie and declined because he wanted to be the Ghost Rider.

The Ghost Rider can take form during daylight, in the movie it was because he could actually control it, if you read the comics he can turn into the Rider whenever he wants

Uh, while I agree with you in principle, Mephistopheles is in fact a demon/possibly the devil. He's the one who makes the deal with Faust, which is where we get the phrase "a Faustian bargain". He was later stolen for use in the Marvel comics, but saying Mephistopheles isn't the devil is like saying Thor isn't the god of thunder.

13:14 Ok, I was sure this part went on a bit longer and I found another upload of this ep, and sure enough the "Cage at his most Cage-y-ness" scene was mostly cut out, including a funny bit telling Cage that "none of this is in the script." It's so strange watching old Nostalgia Critic episodes and find bits and pieces have been taken out. I'm guessing it was something to do with youtube and why they had to re-upload these episodes in the first place..... but it still makes me sad ;_;

also, I think he can use his powers in the daylight near the end is cause the boy gave him more control and more power than before

the drinking from a jug thing actually made sense. If you remember in the first movie, Johnny's first transformation into the rider left him quite thirsty the next day (understandable, since the rider is basically a skeleton engulfed in hellfire). I think the jug scene is just a crossover with that.

The part where ghost rider is in the hospital is because in rider form he's super durable but not invincible and injury shows up when he's not in rider form. The water thing was present in the first movie too when the caretaker would set up a few cups of water. They were MAJORLY inconsistent on a lot of things with the story in my view, but they at least got those things consistent small as they are

Yeah but these movies definitely nerf the Rider. In the comics he has survived some insane injuries without a scratch and they never appeared on his human body.

Because the spirit of the Ghost Rider USED to be an Angel, Zarathos, who was an Angel of Justice sent to protect man. He was tricked by the Devil into Hell, where he was corrupted and driven insane. Zarathos is the one that IS the actual Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze is just a host... when he changes the human is no longer in control, so it's not really Johnny Blaze with his skull on fire. Think of how like the Hulk is a separate personality from Banner.... it's the same deal with GR. This fuckin movie man, I swear, it got just about every wrong.

He called it the spirit of justice because the angel was redeemed or some shit. I only watched the movie once a long time ago and somehow even I still remember that. Like the last guy said, he was an angel of justice, became twisted and became known as the spirit of vengeance. The spirit of justice line is effectively wrapping up his character arc.

The movie may suck, but the ghost rider effects are f**king awesome!!

It's not great, and at several moments very terrible, but honestly this one is better than the original, it's 30 minutes shorter, and I have to say the "look" of the rider is actually fucking amazing.

Nah. This movie is far worse for me dude. I love the look of the Rider in this but aside from that I just preferred the flow and style of the first one. That one was cheesy, but this one was a bland B-movie that was irritating to watch and still managed to be cheesy.

So I looked it up, the duo who directed this movie also did the cinematography for the movie, they also did Crank, its sequel, and a movie simply called "Gamer"
